Almost all perfect - except would prefer room not so close to road.

It was all wonderful. Staff were great and always helpful and friendly. esp check in staff and breakfast staff ( TY to tall guy who was very understanding about coffee machine delay and how I was so keen on my coffee). Room was so nice with everything you want, morning milk on doorstep, pantry for extras. Room overlooked little river which was perfect, but also the road, which was a bit busy, so next time I will ask for a room just on river side. Good value for money.

The only thing I would say was when I had initially stated I was vegan before hand - when the milks were brought in the morning I would have liked to of been offered some alternative milk when we had checked in. But it most certainly did not affect our stay.

Really nice additional touches like pillow spray and verden products! Luxury teas and a welcome booze free elderflower spritz when we arrived. Breakfast was amazing, view from the room amazing, and while we were there the crown restaurant had a 50% off main meal dinner offer!

Just be aware, it is £30 per dog. We were a bit shocked at this at first as we booked through Booking.com and looked at the Inn's own site later. I do think this is a bit on the expensive side, but it is weighing up the experience v the additional cost. Saying that, they were treated extremely well.

Beautiful Inn and room. It was my birthday and had a handwritten card in the room with some gorgeous chocolates which was a really nice touch. Dinner was exceptional, and breakfast was the highest of standards. Dog treats and beds in the room as well, which meant did not have to lug them around with us.

When I arrived I was shown to my room and had everything explained to me by a friendly member of staff. The room was immaculate and tastefully decorated to a high standard. The complimentary sloe gin was delicious as were the local organic tea bags and I loved the little jug of fresh milk left outside the door in the morning ready for my cup of tea! The breakfast (Eggs benedict) was delicious and eaten in a comfortable dining room by a roaring fire. All in all it was a lovely experience and yet no more expensive than other accommodation in the area.

We ate in the restaurant which was lovely, except that our desserts took 40 minutes to arrive, and we had to ask about them multiple times. We then had to ask for our bill to be adapted to reflect the fact that we were unhappy with this service.

This hotel was wonderful. So clean, lovely features, very cosy. It was such a nice stay right before Christmas. The bed was very comfortable and the shower and toiletries felt so luxurious.

The only thing was the temperature in the room. Struggled getting the overall temperature down. Opened windows, lowered the floor heating, turned the dial on the radiator down.

Beautifully designed rooms. Everything was thought of. We had a fantastic stay. Would highly recommend to family and friends.

£30 per dog seemed a bit overpriced but when we saw the additional dog amenities, bed, water bowl, towel, treats etc as well as access to the field, we got over that!

The hotel far exceeded our expectations in terms of decor, staff professionalism and friendliness and it's one of the few places we've ever stayed that is REALLY dog friendly as opposed to just allowing dogs.

The Hotel itself - Interior was well thought out & very quirky & well finished. Food was very good and staff were very nice. Rooms were class - cosy and the little touches were lovely. Music on radio playing & spray for pillows Outdoor areas very cool

The customer service was just okay. Nothing outstandingly bad, but nothing outstandingly good either. The WiFi also was pretty spotty, which was unfortunate since the cell service in The Cotswolds is poor as well. Otherwise, had a great stay.

We had a comfortable stay and enjoyed dinner and breakfast at the restaurant. The rooms were spacious and the tub was a lovely touch. A great value!

Such a gorgeous hotel and the perfect spot for a Christmas getaway! The staff were so friendly and the food was impeccable. Breakfast had a great range to choose from and the sister pub The Crown serves all the pub classics! Our room was generous in size and had everything we needed including a fresh bottle of milk left outside our door in the morning! Our bathtub even came with bath salts and a book to read! The location was great, there isn’t a great deal around the hotel itself but local picturesque villages are a short drive away! Highly recommend and we would love to come back in the spring/summer! Merry Christmas!
