The breakfast wasn’t very nice. Maybe it was just what I ordered but it wasn’t very well cooked. The 20% discount for customers staying at the hotel is a good idea though.

Good location, comfy bed and lovely room. Also the lady at reception was really friendly and helpful.

Well, you wouldn't want to walk barefoot in the bedroom & the staff working the breakfast shift in the breakfast bar didn't appear to be very well trained. Lots of them, but not doing very much & the service / breakfast prep was very slow. We were brought tea & coffee as requested, but had to go to the bar to request cups & saucers to drink from.

The staff on reception were lovely, suggested a much nicer supper restaurant than the one I had found for our evening meal. The location of the hotel & our room were great. The bathroom was recently refurbished & was to a very high standard. We were able to leave our bags in safe keeping, once we'd checked out, so that we could go into town & collect them later.

The heating in our room 302 wasn't on when we arrived at 5pm.. was very cold.. we turned it on. Went out for dinner. Came back & still very cold. We jumped straight into the cosy bed. Heating came on early hours of the morning..

Breakfast was fab. Food and staff were great :)

Parking is an issue in peak time, and some of the decor in the corridors could so with some updating. But the main areas are lovely

Lovely location next to the Theatre and on the seafront which was the purpose of our trip. Staff super friendly and helpful

First impressions were from back entrance car park, looked shabby and needed a coat of paint in corridors. Would ask for lower floor if stayed again as stairs bit steep when carrying bags.

Once in room was pleasantly surprised, very clean, best shower, comfortable bed, loved the white towels. Breakfast was a reasonable price (poached eggs could have been softer) Staff were friendly and attentive.

The English breakfast wasn't hot and sausages were not nice and appeared undercooked. My husband's beans on toast were also luke warm. Lifts are small for 2 people with small cases.

Nice sea view opposite the pier, got upgraded (thank you) with a good size bedroom and bathroom and a lovely bar. 10-15 minutes into town/old town with lovely pubs/restaurants or 10-15 minutes the other way to St. Leonard's.

From the car park is was quite tricky to get to reception and then our room with our luggage. Lots of steps and my sister and I have mobility issues. Unfortunately there was no decaf coffee or tea when we went for breakfast. Duvet cover had old blood stain on it which we didn’t see til the morning. Felt bit sick about that 🤢

Room was a great size with two double beds. Liked that there was a bar. Louise on reception was very helpful.

We arrived early, asked at reception if we could park in the carpark, our rooms were ready so we checked in straight away. The staff were all friendly, we were taken to our rooms by a lovely receptionist. We didn’t eat at the hotel but the restaurant looked nice, the bar service was good and the drinks reasonable.

Could/ should have had window nets as people can see in room when sleeping on the lower floors.

Loved that for once, my dog was welcome. The breakfasts great and the room nice and quiet.

I found the duvet very heavy, and the thar pillows were a bit hard, but my daughter thought they were perfect. It's just a matter of personal preference.

Quirky, relaxed, dog friendly. Don't expect bijou / boutique because it's not. It is a little bit worn around the edges, but it has a comfortable relaxing ambience.
