We had trouble getting into the property as our satnav took us to a different apartment block, then the Sojo Stay team sent us a link to a second apartment block, which also wasn't the right one. Eventually we found the right block with the help of the Sojo Stay team over the phone.

Double doors in kitchen/sitting room don’t open so gets hots and Smokey when cooking with no ventilation. Bed needs a fitted mattress cover underneath as the one thin sheet was too small and moved around showing stains on the mattress

the only thing we struggled with was the temperature of the shower it was a bit too much on the cold side so had to keep boosting it

Nothing we didn't like, but would have been 10/10 if there was a drying rack and chopping board in the kitchen, and some wall/door hooks somewhere in the apartment where we could hang coats. Otherwise, it was perfect for our long weekend!

Lovely apartment in the Jewellery Quarter, and a short stroll into the city centre and canals. Clean and modern interior design with a well equipped kitchen, and working lift (which was helpful for transporting luggage and a pram!) We were worried about the included parking after reading some reviews here, but contacted them a few days prior to our stay, and received a quick response that designated parking would be included. All the details were sent on the morning of our arrival, instructions very easy to follow once at the site, and we were pleased to see our parking space was clearly marked and available (no problems all weekend even with us leaving and returning in the car). We would say that the space is fairly narrow with solid pillars either side, so perfectly fine for a regular sized car, but anyone with a large/wide vehicle may struggle. We had a little issue with hot water one night during our stay, but could contact the hosts easily, and issue was resolved over the phone - cannot fault their service!

Large accommodation for my solo trip! Very clean, apart from cob webs in ceiling light shade in living, dining room. Excellent kitchen, with full sized fridge. Super bathroom with excellent shower. Large bedroom with a very comfortable bed.

There was a very loud humming sound, almost like an air conditioning unit, which did not seem to switch off and was very noisy at night. There was also a birthday party one night nearby, which was rowdy and made a lot of noise until around 23;00 at night. Soundproofing wasn't the apartment strong point. The bed was very low and did not have a comfortable mattress, but that one is personal preference.

Nicely decorated apartment, but could have had more amenities (ie cleaning items). The location is handy for Central Birmingham, and it wasn't too expensive for a weekend stay.

The TV didn’t work- no power cable. The check in process was over the top. A online registration, copy of deriving licence , £100 deposit. Phone calls , watsapp messages . Despite complimentary parking being on the title of this property there was no parking and we have to pay for off site parking. We choose this because of the parking and had to pay for expensive parking on waste land near by which wasn’t very safe .

The bed could have been more comfortable. It was fine for a short stay, but was quite low.

Apartment was well equipped and spotlessly clean. Free, secure parking was a bonus. Located in the heart of the jewellery quarter, a short walk from bars and restaurants. Location itself was quiet though.

The little aerial thingy wasn't plugged in so I couldn't get any of the TV channels didn't realise this until my second to last day.( YouTube and Netflix worked remember to log out before u leave) BBC iplayer worked as well but I found that I had to go onto a bbc channel press the green button which would take me to the BBC iplayer home screen. The app wouldn't take me there. (Maybe because the ariel thing wasnt in) I planned on cooking a lot so brought about 3 shopping bags full of various stuff, as well as my suitcase. Had to lump all my stuff down the stairs and I was on floor 3 because the elevator wasn't working on the day I left. 😅

Lovely place, lovely facilities. Took me a while to figure out the lockbox, but I got there in the end. When I first came in, the apartment was heated and had a lovely scent. I planned on cooking a lot so brought about 3 shopping bags full of utensil and food. I even bought my own pot and pan wasn't sure what to expect. If it helps, cooking utensils were provided, including kitchen knife spatula corkscrew and can opener(I think). Plenty of plates and bowls and cuttlery. Washing up liquid and sponge were also provided. You could bring your own kitchen paper if you plan on cooking or would just come in handy. There is a greggs tesco express and subway about 5 or so mins walk from the apartment as well as lots of independent food places and cafes. Maybe bring a blanket if you like to wrap up on the sofa like me. Overall, loved my stay. Peaceful, clean and quiet.

I felt the quality of bed and sofa was poor. Mattress was cheap and uncomfortable, and bedroom had plenty of room for a king size bed, rather than the double. Sofa was small and uncomfortable.

Lack of toiletries in the bathroom & basic kitchen utensils means it's not practical to cook, which is the whole point of booking an apartment.

Shockingly equipped. No kitchen bin. No kitchen dish cloth, no tea towel, no oven gloves, no soap, no shampoo. The list goes on!

Apartment was lovely. Very new. Incredibly clean. Well furnished an decorated, with decent utilities.

On two occasions kept up late with loud music from neighbours, on my last evening what sounded like a party when on till 4am and I couldn’t sleep. As I was there to work this was far from ideal.
