It so cold and the net curtains bit dirty the bottom think need to wash once in while just small problem to improve everything is amazing will definitely come back again.

Massive room and toilet, cleanliness wise is good and breakfast is perfect good view.

no amenities in the room. not even hand soap in the bathroom. Heater was not working in our room. Had to go ask for an electric radiator to be given. quite disappointing. looked better on the pictures than it actually was.

Sign outside our room unloose and hitting against the wall in the wind, very warm room so needs the window open. Receptionist not aware of food times in the bar, didn’t tell us where breakfast was served and unaware of the local area when asked a question!

Our room was 207, had a sea view that would be lovely on a clear day! Good breakfast.

Room was a bit dated, all magnolia, and could do with being made to feel a bit more cosy. We could hear the TV in the next room at night when we got back to the room.

Given the obvious age and position of the building there will always be on-going maintenance, but rain came through my ceiling during the early hours. (It was shocking weather). The night porter came with a bucket and towel, he told me there were no other rooms available on the floor I was on (my friends where on this floor) so my option was to stay put for the rest of the night. I reported to reception the next morning, they were able to move me to the room next door to the one I was in... totally conflicting what the night-porter told me. meh?

Food was good. Staff were helpful Bar area was warm and pleasant, but would have been nice if it was open more for more hours during the Christmas period . Room sizes were good. Location was stunning.

Clearly dated and issues with soundproofing but I imagine it would be incredibly costly to refurbish and due to it’s location I can’t imagine it would make much business sense to do so.

Even before we even opened the door THERE WAS AN HORRENDOUS SCHREECHING SOUND, so we were a little nervous of even opening it. It turned out the window was DEFINITELY NOT KEEPING THE DREADFUL SOUND OF THE WIND OUT or even softening it down at all. We went down for dinner and then retired early as on our way to Taunton for Christmas with our Family, at that point the sound wasn't quite so noisy. BUT at approx 4 a.m. the dreadful noise of the wind returned and we couldn't sleep just on and off really. However we told the manager it needs Triple or stronger glazing on that window definitely. He was extremely helpful and pleasant deducted approx 17% from our bill . You have a lovely Hotel & STaff there you just need to soundproof the Lovely rooms that overlook the Sea.

We have stayed at this hotel many times previously. Our room had an old and very firm mattress and the springs in the devan did cause some discomfort. There were no hooks or a shelf in the bathroom which meant that there was no storage for bags etc.

We were visiting family who live nearby so the location is excellent. The staff were brilliant and the room was ok if a little tired.

As others mentioned, the property is very dated, there are marks on the walls and tears in the ceiling. The bathroom was in a very bad state and we could hear each step of the person above us with a squeaking sound.

The location is beautiful and views from the rooms with view are stunning.

Best thing about this hotel is the amazing sea view. Executive twin room was a very good size with great view. Decent breakfast. Good sized car park. Good value for money. Very well situated for quick access to Clevedon and beach.

First room 501 was small and noisy.. It's an old building and we appreciate there will be some minor problems. Bathrooms could do with upgrading but of course that's costly.

We had a noise problem due to the wind howling in the first room allocated. I spoke to reception and they very kindly changed our room.
