The toilet seat needs to be fixed and the door lock is a little dodgy. Other than that, can't say there was anything we didn't like.

Loved the location, although part way up a steep hill. The views were amazing and the cottage is lovely. It was clean and tidy, ideal for a stay in the area.

Access - quite tricky to get to it along a very steep dirt track. Not for nervous drivers! Would have been great to have some more basics; eg. hairdryer.

Lovely cottage, comfortable beds, scenic location.

We did find the road leading up to the property quite unnerving! The parking really isn’t that far away, however. I did try to communicate that there were a few issues. We found it frustrating not to have a dishcloth/sponge to do the washing up or wipe the surfaces down- only a cheap item but pretty essential if you are cooking and eating in the flat. We did point out other small issues that may well have gone unnoticed before our arrival. However, over all amazing value for money.

The accommodation was very well presented. Once the heating had kicked in (which took a while- it was 10 degrees inside when we arrived) it was warm and cosy. The beds and shower were good. The kitchen was generally well equipped- just missing a couple of essentials. The views are magnificent and the walking straight from the property is fantastic.

The road to the property is not good, which most reviews say anyway. I would not recommend if you do not feel confident at driving. At night you cannot see where you’re going and the parking is a good walk away from the property with no lighting. Highly recommend a head torch. We were also told we would be provided milk for our stay but there was only 6 little pots which you would get at a hotel so recommend bringing your own milk for the stay

Property is lovely. Really cosy and fab facilities! Bed is incredibly comfortable and the sofa you can easily relax into. Shower is amazing, so powerful. Heating system is also immaculate, heats the place up within minutes. Highly recommend if you are looking for a peaceful break away. Neighbouring properties are also incredibly lovely. Great dog walks nearby Wi-Fi is super quick

Overall it was a really nice and cosy property which we liked. However it was let down by two things. The settee was almost impossible to sit on and certainly not for any length of time. It was some kind of cheap basic out of shape metal frame which leaned way backwards. The other thing was the mattress on the bed we slept in, which felt like a put up bed mattress. Not as critical but an outside light would have been helpful. We don't often give reviews but we really liked the cottage and would consider staying there again and even recommend to others as we have family closely, so hopefully these easily fixable items could be attended to.

Outside was very untidy. It could have looked more presentable. The WIFI network did not work and had to use my data for my entire stay. Some advice before heading here: -make sure you have food prepared and snacks (no local takeaways) -it is a very isolated location and gets pitch black at night. (No street lights) -it is for people who are walkers therefore very muddy

Inside was lovely and cosy. Sweet little cottage and different. Nice winter toasty nights. Staff were so helpful!

The fridge I think was broken but was turned on and smelt really bad if you opened the door (so couldnt use that). The drive up was a little hairy and not obvious at first where the parking was for the cottage but fine once we found it.

Very dark walking from main road uk to property- torch needed and sturdy shoes as very steep uk the little path- good adventure though!. Could just do with hairdryer and a sharp knife. I didn’t see a garden or anywhere to sit for warm weather but I could be wrong. This didn’t put us off though it was a lovely place!

Lovely cottage with amazing views, nice and clean and most things needed for cooking. Plenty of space for 2 of us in the lounge and kitchen. Good contact with the owner. Right near Pennine way but not far from Hebden Bridge. I would recommend it for a romantic getaway

A heads up on the logistics of getting to the house itself. <-My wife had a temporary disability and walking down to the house was a little tricky. Luckily the neighbours saw us and allowed me to drive the car down to pick up my wife. I realise that this is how you get the awesome location but not being able to park close by the property was an issue. The toilet seat was broken despite the previous guests having mentioned this in the book.

The location was awesome, tucked away and tranquil. Despite the comments below we would stay again

The car park was a good walk up hill from cottage. But brought car down to load and unload. The lane from main road would be hairy if your not used to country driving. Not for a disabled person I’m nearly 80 and struggled with the uphill walk to the car park.

The cottage was cosy, bed was comfortable and two of the pillows we just right for me. There was no TV signal but managed with TV apps. No view as such from windows.
