We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.

Received a warm welcome. The room was clean and tidy. Excellent location for the town, just a few minutes walk. Upon check in we were given a good overview of the town, where was best to eat and recommendations of places to visit. Breakfast was lovely and loved the little touch of afternoon sherry and cake.

Single room was well equipped and comfortable Much better than the cupboard some hotels offer! Staff were friendly and helpful. Location was excellent - near town and beach but quiet. Large free car park - always a bonus.

We stayed at the Virgina Court for 2 nights for a wedding close by. We arrived by car and parked up in the car park. There was plenty of space for the car and were given a code to enter the door. We were greeted by one of the owners I think and were checked in, nice and quickly. Our room was lovely and big and spotlessly clean. Bathroom was lovely too. One of the best showers I have had, out of my own home. Very powerful. There was a kettle with tea and coffee etc and some biscuits. We were told about the complimentary sherry and cake in the bar so we decided to try this out and it was lovely. The cake was amazing. The bar itself is stunning. Beautifully thought out interior with lovely comfy chairs to sit in. We didn't go back to the bar later as we went out for the evening. We strolled into the town which is very close by and wandered along the sea front, also very near by. We didn't have breakfast in the morning as we decided to try a local cafe in town but I will take breakfast next time I come. When we came back from our walk, there were extra tea and coffee sachets in reception that you could top up your room with, which was great as I do love a cup of tea. I was very impressed that our room also had a fan. I wasn't expecting that and I sleep with a fan at night, at home so this was great. This is somewhere I will definitely come to again and have already suggested this place to friends. It was perfectly situated and felt like home.

United KingdomEvening meal should have been available- as after long days sightseeing - no evening meal available- so had to go out every night & find somewhere to go. Booking.com is only room bookable, so had to pay an additional £15 per person per day for breakfast at Virginia Court Hotel.
The hotel was easy to find, plenty of on-site parking at the hotel. Lovely garden with lots of seating areas to relax in the sunshine, complimentary sherry & fruit cake every afternoon to residents. The staff were really helpful & friendly. The choice of breakfasts & quality of the food was superb. The hotel was trendy & well looked after. The room we stayed in was perfect. Only one downside - no evening meals available - which meant we had to go out every evening & find somewhere to eat after having full days out & feeling tired. Other than that - 10 out of 10 & would stay there again. One downside with booking.com is that you can only book a room at Virginia Court & if you want breakfast it’s an additional £15 per person.
