Rooms could have been made up each day but weren't. Needed new towels one day so left the old ones on the floor but they weren't replaced.

Breakfast selection was good, really comfortable bar and garden room. The beer garden is fantastic and great service.

The car park was a little busy and we did struggle to find a parking spot , but that shows the hotel was popular . You might struggle if you need a lift, as the stair are very steep.

The room was fine, a little smaller than I expected, but it was very nice, The breakfast was good value and the staff were all very friendly and so helpful, even the the groundsman, was very nice and the grounds were amazing., you could see all his hard work. the view from the back of the hotel was beautiful , will be going back.

Green light in ceiling of bedroom which was on all night but apparently was a requirement to do with safety/fire exit.

Staff were very professional, food was excellent. Hotel decor was very nice and outside terrace area overlooking river was lovely to sit out in.

We had a bit of a shock at 8.00am sitting in bed taking in the view when a window cleaner appeared onto the flat roof outside our window that we thought would be private We told the lady at reception and she promised to have a strong word with the window cleaner But all in all this was a pleasant stay! Mabe the window cleaner in future should wait till after check out time !

Continental breakfast was rather dull. Some items e.g. yogurts, shampoo, could be Welsh instead of English and Scottish.

We absolutely loved our stay here. We had an amazingly comfy super king bed, it was huge! The staff were friendly and the views from the garden were stunning. The hotel rooms have been really tastefully decorated and felt luxurious. Our booking email said there may be some noise at this location but we found it really quiet and we had a room that faced the road. Will definitely be back!

There were limited parking spaces for guests staying at the hotel, the bar and restaurant was very busy so the car park was full. I would have liked if the TV in the room had Netflix and WiFi but not a biggie

Loved the location, amazing view from our balcony and the hotel was dog friendly. I thought the room was cosy, nicely decorated and clean. The restaurant was lovely with a beautiful outdoor seating area which also had an outdoor bar. The breakfast was delicious and the staff were friendly.

Room was a bit small and too much light from hallway and smoke sector in the room has a permanent green bright green light.

Bathroom was a little small and slight difficulty with parking.

Our room was in the middle, so the bathroom was quite small. Not a very nice smell from the bathroom when we opened the door, smelt kind of like stagnant water and something else. Seemed to go away the more we were in there and using it but had to keep the door firmly closed the first night and morning cause the smell was quite bad. No plug in the sink, so maybe coming from the gunk that just tends to build up down the hole. Maybe fitting a plug will help ease the smell. Handle missing on the wardrobe, didn't stop us using it, just seemed a shame when everything else looked so nice and seemed like a simple fix.

Great location. Lovely building and decor, very comfy beds. Tea, coffee and biscuits in the room with the option to get more milk in a jug from the bar, which was nice. The restaurant was lovely and all the staff were really kind and helpful. The breakfast options were great and delicious. Had dinner there the first night and was spoilt for choice, the entire menu sounded amazing.

There was nothing to dislike. One small problem with parking but as it was a bank holiday weekend it was to be expected

The situation of the Victoria is perfect. Lovely views, decor is very pleasant and staff extremely welcoming and efficient. We dined on the evening and food was excellent. Our room with balcony also exceptional. Loved our stay and will make a return visit soon.

Attention to dirt accumulation under the bed which could be seen around the edge too. No shaver plug in point in the bathroom. Bath towels were too small.

The smart and interesting decor. All meals were excellent with a good choice on the menus. Staff were always helpful and friendly. Many of the staff have worked there for some time which is always a good sign. The view of the Menai Straits from the bedroom and garden was outstanding. The garden is beautifully maintained.

Lovely room overlooking the sea. Beautiful balcony. Great food and wonderful staff. Cullen was particularly helpful and knowledgeable about the island.
