We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.

United KingdomWe ate in the main restaurant on our first evening, we found the menu very limited. If you are looking for a simple dish this restaurant isn’t where you will find it. The food was nice but a few simpler dishes would probably be a good start. Sharing the dining room with dogs is also a big no no. The mattress in the bedroom was really hard and uncomfortable, probably a personal choice but we would think more people prefer a softer mattress.
The room was really beautiful and had all you could ask for. Nice touch to have a few free drinks and sweets for the stay. Shower was really good in a huge bathroom. Nice and quiet location.

United KingdomI would have liked to control the temperature in the room. I also found accessing the welcome pack via a QR code a bit of a hassle. I would have appreciated a printed version so I could quickly find any info I needed. I felt like I might have missed out by losing patience with QR codes!
I had always wanted to stay at Victoria as Holkham is a favourite place. We stayed in Ancient House which was lovely and we had a seating area where we could chill with magazines and prosecco. I had a bath and a shower during our stay which felt luxurious and we appreciate the free parking pass for the rest of the Estate car parks. We had dinner in the restaurant - it was delicious, the fire was burning and the staff were super friendly.

United KingdomThe thing we didn’t like was the reception room it is just inside the front doors. With 2 desks with helpful girls behind. I wanted to ask something one day but there was a resident having a right old moan. So I retreated back out as it was embarrassing. I feel he should have been taken to somewhere quiet so he could vent his anger. We were also put in room 8 Blunt Corner. It was in the courtyard & very cold even though we had radiators.
It’s a lovely & cosy & friendly hotel. The staff are lovely & very helpful. Food was fresh tasty & well presented. Lee & Ewan are very helpful. But to be fair all staff excellent. Dogs very welcome there.
