Although room was OK some maintenance needs to take place. We had no hot water our first morning which was sorted out for us whilst out for the day. But there was an issue with the toilet continuously running water as the flush valve had gone, this is something that should have been noticed by the cleaning teams whilst in the room as it was very obvious and the room should have been out of use until resolved. Instead we had to report this to reception who have now notified maintenance. The rooms could do with redecoration (wall paper peeling in places, radiators rusted, paint chipped/marks on the wall). We were only staying for a couple of nights so not a huge deal for us overall but if staying longer would have been disappointed in the rooms for the price charged.

Great location. Easy to access other local areas you might want to visit. Lovely outdoor terrace with views over the golf course. Good breakfast selection. Staff were helpful when issues raised.

The woodwork in the room could have done with a wipe. Areas of paint needed touching up. Breakfast was a bit hectic- coffee machine in the wrong place

At dinner time my girlfriend ordered the shell food dish which only came with 1 prawn and 4 muscles if this was an appetiser this would be fine however this was sold as a main for £25 & the pina colada didn't taste or look like the traditional drink. Small things let the hotel down, there are no toilet brushes in the bathrooms, the staff in the bar are surly, unhurried and appear to be uncoordinated. I do not have breakfast in the restaurant as I find the hot food is mass produced "greasy joe" style and often the coffee machine was out of order.

The reception staff were first class as would be expected. Other than the food and beverage side, the hotel is mainly quite good.

The sauna was far too hot. Unusable. No additional special menu on the Saturday night in the restaurant. Minor things which didn't spoil our stay.

How easy it was to access the restaurant, spa treatments with lovely relaxing areas included, and the pool with a jacuzzi and steam room. Staff were very helpful and friendly. The room was very comfortable and close to amenities. Set in lovely grounds with a large car park. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful.

See above - and also, the range of beer was not very good (according to the men in the Group) and perhaps Guinness 00, or other zero Beers would give a better choice.

Breakfast and dinner were very good - but, because the dinner menu was the same every day, we felt we had to go elsewhere on some of the days. Perhaps 7 days of different menus would de better for those staying more than 1/2 days. If we had daily menu, we would have eaten there every evening. See above - and

The staff were not that helpful or kind. There were multiple stains in the carpet in our room. The breakfast was definitely not worth the money, it wasn't great at all.

The room was a great size, great facilities, activities, even though overpriced, were enjoyable. The swimming pool area was lovely.

We arrived at 2.45 to be told room wouldn't be ready till 3, so come back then. Had bags clothes on hangers etc. No one said you can wait in bar although they did offer to take bags for us. So we said we will wait in car. We wnt back at 5 past 3 to be given our room key.

The tea and coffee in the room was a bit sparse, and it would have been nice to have a small drinks fridge for the milk I always carry with me.

Breakfast set up was good. The room was comfy with plenty of hot water and the bed was very comfy A nice break with a superb pub just down the road.
