It was a bit noisy, but we expected that due to the town centre location.

Really spacious room and bathroom. Very comfortable bed. Great to have 2 chairs in a double room. Breakfast was good too. Super welcome from the receptionist.

Good location right in the centre of town. Friendly and helpful staff. Huge, very comfortable room. Good evening meal and breakfast. Used as overnight stay before travelling to Isles of Scilly.

Parking directions might be clearer, especially if you're arriving after dark, but it didn't take long to spot the sign under the plant grwoth!.

Very comfortable bed, and the ensuite facilities, including the shower, were fine. There seems to have been an upgrade since we last stayed many years ago. The breakfasts were very good - and considering that you don't get a breakfast included if you stay over the road at the Wetherspoons establishment, Tyack's is the best value decent stay in town. Don't leave your breakfast arrival until the wire, however - the juices etc will disappear on the dot of closing! Good range of drinks at the bar, including St Austell's Proper Job rather than the dreaded Sharp's Doom Bar; a pool table for only 50p a game; and a good loud rock band on the Friday night we were there. Friendly staff. Nice to be back in good old Camborne. Thank you guys!

It's tired and dated in places.

I like the fact that we can take our dog and he is made welcome. The location is good for visiting family in the area. Very good breakfast.

You could not sit at certain tables in the dining room. In a prime position by the door two tble were always reserved for dog owners. I have nothing against dogs but it is not right that they are literally allowed to sit up at the table on a chair! There is room in the bar for dogs. We were there for 3 nights. The TV did not work very well becaue of a frayd aerial leed and the toilet seat was loose and dangerous. I reported these problems but nothing was done.

Camborn is very central to many of the lovely places on the peninsula. The hotel was comfortable and the room large and very presentable.

The fact there was a rock music festival on!! Not anyone’s fault though we were only told the day before and after our payment had been taken so really no possibility of us changing location

There was nothing I didn’t like.

The property was quaint and old worldly. The rooms were decorated to reflect the age of the building which was great as it kept the character . The staff were helpful and friendly. We were attending a funeral in the town and after a 5 hour drive they went out of their way to get the room ready early so I could freshen up and get changed. The bed was very comfortable and the bed linen and towels were clean & fresh. The included breakfast was lovely and served hot to the table.

The furnishings were a little dated but perfectly adequate.

My room was upgraded to a 4 poster suite which was large and comfortable. The room was in great condition and impeccably clean. The value for money was excellent.

The room looked out onto a busy junction. Not the hotel's fault, just where it was located. It was great having free parking but it is not obvious how to reach it. I needed to park down the road in a supermarket and go into the hotel to find how to access the car park. Some directions beforehand would have been helpful.

The staff were a highlight - very cheerful and friendly. The room was fine - had most things you'd expect from TV to tea, coffee etc

Extra coffee etc sachets on the drinks tray. I had to ask for more a couple of times

Friendly, helpful staff. Excellent location with safe parking. Food was scrummy….from breakfast to Sunday roast. Hotel is always clean and rooms are well maintained. Happy to return any time.
