My only issue was with the couch.. But I really am scraping the barrel to find something that I didn't like. Most people wouldn't even find it a problem - I just have difficulty getting up!

Amazing find, thank you. Everything was great. Sally had set the apartment up perfectly. All the things u normally need to remember she'd already popped in the room. The views were something special. Definitely recommend.

The view from apartment no 2 was amazing. Sea view to the right and the castle directly in front.

    Nothing.

We liked everything about Ty'n y Gwynt. We were in Flat 2 on the first floor with uninterrupted view of the castle on the hill across the road and the sound of the waves lapping on the beach a few hundred feet away. Sally was a warm, welcoming and helpful host. The accommodation is comfortable and well designed and the beds ( twin) were very comfortable. Although it was a short stay we really liked Criccieth and did a fabulous coastal walk to Port Talbot, catching the train back as well as travelled on the heritage railway from Port Talbot. There was a lot more we could have done. We will have to return!

As we expected, there were stairs only to the top, but these turned out to be not as narrow as we experienced before.

We stayed in the apartment under the roof, with fantastic views of the castle to one side and the sea from the other window. Due to high ceilings and the open plan for the kitchen/living area, the apartment is very spacious and filled with light (even when it is raining). Parking is just across the road and was not problem. Criccieth is a lovely small seaside resort, with everything available that is needed (except a sandy beach, maybe). We had a very relaxing few days and would stay there again. Thank you Sally for having us

What a wonderful place to stay. Sally could not have been more helpful and friendly. The rooms were beautifully decorated, with fantastic amenities. We forgot to pick up all of our belongings, and Sally was kind enough to post them back to us. The location of Ty'n y Gwent is excellent, located right next to the castle, and parking was easy. I cannot recommend this place enough, we will definitely be booking direct with Sally for our next trip to Wales. Wonderful!

An absolutely wonderful apartment. We had a sea view one way and the castle the other. Incredibly comfortable and had everything we needed, including some lovely extra touches like milk and biccies in the kitchen for us. Sally the host is lovely and we are looking forward to returning. Highly recommended.

Lovely location, spacious living area and a very comfy bed

It was nice (and quite unusual) to have 2 sofas in a 1 bed apartment, however the springs had sagged a bit. Easily remedied by adding one of the throw cushions under the sofa cushion. If you are short like me, you need to wave your arms a bit while taking a shower to keep the motion sensor light on, definitely keep the door open and the bedroom light on just in case! That didn't spoil the nice hot shower though, so just a minor thing really.

Lovely location right opposite Criccieth Castle, which is lit up at night and can be seen from one of the windows. The apartment was on the top floor and there was plenty of parking just opposite. The living space was very spacious with 2 sofas and a wall mounted TV. There was a well equipped kitchen area with fridge, oven, hob, microwave, kettle, toaster and even a dishwasher (not that I needed it). There was a separate dining table with a lovely view of the sea from the other window. The bedroom was large with an extremely comfy bed and a wardrobe with lots of hangers! There was a nice en-suite shower room too, the water was hot and the shower pressure very good. A bookcase on the lower landing offered a range of books to read. The apartment was very warm and cosy despite the awful weather. The WiFi worked and was easy to connect to. Sally was very friendly and on hand if I needed anything. I was also able to stay a bit later on checkout day as there was no one coming in to the apartment that day, which was appreciated.

    Loved it all

Amazing stay in July, we had a very relaxing break in the top floor. The apartment, views and location were fantastic. Sea view from one window and castle, which is lit up at night, through the other. Didn't switch TV on at all with those views and with quirky book area on middle floor where can borrow books from. Apartment had everything we needed. 3 night break and spotted the dolphins twice in that time. Beach couple of minutes wander down the road, loved swimming in the sea each day. Sally was lovely and very helpful. Definitely hope to return.
