We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.

very quiet room even though it was overlooking the main road . Rothbury is a lovely town and a real find being so close to Cragside. Friendly staff and an excellent evening meal which very reasonably priced.

United KingdomAs it is also a pub, you may hear music from the bar in the evening. This did not bother us, but some may find it annoying. Did not go on too late though.
Comfortable and clean room. Helpful staff, we were cycling and a secure area was found to keep our bikes overnight. Food was excellent and great value.

United KingdomNot much to dislike, although the room decor was a little tired with a creaky floor, in line with the age of the property.
Convenient as a base for touring West Northumberland. Room was very clean, with a huge bathroom. The included breakfast was varied, generous and tasty. We ate in one evening and menu had plenty of choice and the service was excellent. The property has lots of character with a homely feel.

United KingdomWe were intending to eat at the hotel however they were extra busy so we went to the hotel about 100yds away which was awful. However that was not the turks head fault when we go again to Rothbury we will have to book a table before we get there, the food did look great
Very enjoyable tasty breakfast attentive staff, the room we had our breakfast was decorated lovely it really matched the period of the building.The hotel was decorated very well I should imagine its not easy with older property. We would stay again we wanted a base to visit Craggside and we were not dissapointed

Location is great. In the middle of Rothbury and a short drive to Cragside. Free parking which is very close to the pub. Clean and warm. The bed is comfortable. Staff are really lovely, friendly and accommodating. We felt really welcome. The breakfast and evening meals were good quality, freshly made and substantial.

Staff were excellent, helping as much as they could and looked after us very well. Room was spacious and clean and looked recently refurbished. The food was lovely and generous portion sizes.
