Great breakfast and comfortable room. We had a big shower in the bathroom and a sitting room in addition to the bedroom. We had a dog with us so we had plenty of room in the little annex.

Family room was positioned above the bar and it was noisy until closing time - it was quiet after that. Would have been ok if I didn’t have my children with me.

The lock on the door....the key didn't go in very easily and that the curtains in ensuite didn't close. I appreciate there is netting but at night when lights on, everything would be visible and window quite low. I didn't want to he seen on the loo

Very well decorated, clean, comfortable and lovely breakfast. The morning ladies were a great laugh and very knowledgeable about the area.

We stayed in a lovely spacious room, however we were right next to the kitchen so had the noise of the fans 24/7 and the smell of the cooking leaking into the room.

Good hotel within Rothbury. Nice room, restaurant and bar area.

A friendly hotel in the heart of the charming village of Rothbury. We had a huge and comfortable bedroom with a sofa and a delicious breakfast. Staff were cheerful and helpful and we enjoyed a very good evening meal in the pub dining room. The Turks Head made a perfect starting point for our driving tour on the Northumberland 250.

As it is also a pub, you may hear music from the bar in the evening. This did not bother us, but some may find it annoying. Did not go on too late though.

Comfortable and clean room. Helpful staff, we were cycling and a secure area was found to keep our bikes overnight. Food was excellent and great value.

Was a little noisy, but that was due to other patrons standing outside and voices coming through the window. Not the hotel staff fault.

Breakfast was excellent; staff were very friendly and attentive; room met expectations and was quite spacious.

Not much to dislike, although the room decor was a little tired with a creaky floor, in line with the age of the property.

Convenient as a base for touring West Northumberland. Room was very clean, with a huge bathroom. The included breakfast was varied, generous and tasty. We ate in one evening and menu had plenty of choice and the service was excellent. The property has lots of character with a homely feel.

We were intending to eat at the hotel however they were extra busy so we went to the hotel about 100yds away which was awful. However that was not the turks head fault when we go again to Rothbury we will have to book a table before we get there, the food did look great

Very enjoyable tasty breakfast attentive staff, the room we had our breakfast was decorated lovely it really matched the period of the building. The hotel was decorated very well I should imagine its not easy with older property. We would stay again we wanted a base to visit Craggside and we were not dissapointed
