The decor is dated and there are lots of empty spaces which look shabby. There is a long walk to facilities and the whole place looks as if it needs an update.

The building looks grand. The food in the restaurant was good and the staff in restaurant were nice.

Food options lacking, evening meal didn't have an allergy menu but adapted something, nothing dairy free in deserts. Breakfast just okay.

Spa good, bedrooms dated but clean and comfortable. All staff very friendly.

Stately and full of character hotel. Beautiful surroundings. Food was excellent. Staff were friendly and courteous.

Unfortunately it was the room itself (room 3) that actually marred our stay. It was not as clean as I would have expected. There was dust and cobwebs in the main bedroom. The television reception was intermittent and the wifi was very poor and incredibly difficult to get on to. The bathroom had mould around the bath area and just looked as though it required a good scrub. The toilet did flush but not very well. Overall the bathroom and bedroom were very tired looking in comparison to other parts of the hotel. I hope you can take on board this constructive criticism in the way it is intended which is to improve future guests experiences.

Whilst our overall experience at the hotel was very good. I would like to provide some feedback which hopefully will improve future overnight stays. Unfortunately there was no one at reception at the time of our checking out to do this in person. The staff couldn’t do enough for us. They were all friendly and provided at great service, especially Luke. The spa facilities were excellent and spotlessly clean.

Internet did not reach our room. Beds were not comfortable. Only 1 robe supplied for spa and it was missing a belt. Cooked breakfast was quite bland.

The bathroom tiles were a bit grubby and could have done with a new shower curtain .

The Hall is magnificent with so much character, the rooms were grand and the location was perfect .

The room we stayed in was in desperate need of a renovation. The mattress was very old, the bed creaked a lot, the old soap/shampoo dispenser was left empty in the shower, signs of wear and tear everywhere. We had no wifi in our room even though the helpful staff tried their best to rectify this twice. It was such a shame as the rest of the stay was wonderful.

I think with-so many families with kids under 6, allowing them access to the pool at specific allocated times would be something I would change. It may be a legal thing but having a pool guard-on would sort this. Also, some real flowers in the lobby instead of the fake ones as it is stunning room with the staircase.

Beautiful location and old building. The staff were wonderful and the grounds and facilities were excellent.

Hotel desperately needs a lift to 1st floor. In our case no help was offered with our luggage had to carry cases up stairs.

Unfortunately dinner in the restaurant was underwhelming with raw pizza dough, very long waits for service although the staff were very friendly. Whilst the hotel is obviously striving to be high end they need to refresh room decor (peeling wallpaper, stained walls and furniture and tired carpet. Whilst the toiletries and linens supplied were lovely it would have been nice to have a shower cap and flannels.

Fantastic location, blissfully peaceful. Hotel building was stunning. Breakfast was tasty, plentiful, varied and served promptly.

Maybe options for dinner can be increased, but still a few options to choose from.

Location is in the middle of Anglesey, you can use the hotel as access point to everywhere. Breakfast was good enough. Overall, it's worthwhile staying this hotel and willing to stay there again soon.
