There is nothing that we didn't like. Everything was perfect right from the cleanliness of the room. The ambience, the top-up of the biscuits and the coffee after we had consumed it.

Breakfast was amazing, it was warm and delicious. They made efforts to prepare it and serve with smiles on face.

We liked everything about Tregony, the room was spacious, tastefully furnished, super clean and had the most beautiful view. Top that with the friendliness of the hosts and an amazing breakfast, we highly recommend the place.

There was mention of a steeper hill to the guest house if walking. It is about 7- 8 minutes) to the Tregony from the center of St. Ives, which ultimately didn’t bother us as we are in our early 70’s and fit enough (initially concerned about an ankle issue). We found that we got to enjoy it at the end of the day after a lovely dinner. We could also take a cab. Not a problem at all.

We stayed in Room 3 for a couple of weeks on our first visit to Cornwall and it was exceptional! The Tregony was very clean, high quality comfortable beds, 2 large chairs to sit and watch the sea view and sunsets, many excellent breakfast choices (vegan/vegetarian choices) all well prepared each day. The hosts were very helpful and charming, providing us with restaurant ideas in other communities, and daily beaches and coastal walks to try. We were sorry to leave and will return to Tregony House as one of the best stays of our lives. Thank you Charlotte and Gavin!

Really lovely couple, made us feel very welcome, and made sure our stay was comfortable. The breakfast was lovely, with plenty of choices and made fresh to order, our son even got to have toy soldiers (strips of toast to dip into an egg). Location was great, with a paid car park a little further along the road for us to leave our car, and only a short walk down slightly sloped roads and some steps to get to the beach and the centre of the town.

Charlotte and Gavin were very helpful and always on hand to make our stay as good as possible. The breakfast each morning was fantastic and our room was clean and tidy throughout. It’s a perfect location just a short walk from the beach and was an ideal setting for our week away. A previous review mentioned a tip that downloading the JustPark app and paying for our parking at Barnoon Car Park through this platform would be cheaper than using the machines and this was really useful. The weekly rate is not advertised on the signs and this saved us around 30 pounds!

Such a lovely place to stay in St Ives. Room was very comfortable, small touches like biscuits and bottled water were much appreciated. The breakfast was very good and my partner said his bacon was perfect. Would highly recommended 👌

Everything was perfect.

Charlotte & Gavin are wonderful hosts - helpful and welcoming. Tregony is a very comfortable place to stay, our room was cosy and spotlessly clean, with everything we could need, and a very short walk into the centre of town. (Definitely recommend getting a taxi from the station though if you have bags - it doesn't cost much.) Breakfast was generous and delicious!

I had an absolutely lovely time! The hosts were amazing and made me feel at home. The breakfasts were brilliant and everything was spotless! One of the best places I've stayed hands down! The location is perfect as everything is within walking distance too. Definitely coming back when I come to St Ives again.

The breakfast was excellent, all facilities immaculate. Location was at the top of a hill above St Ives with great views but parking was about 50 meters away and we used a taxi service to run us up and down into St Ives which was always prompt and £5 a time.

Our particular room didn’t have en-suite, but it did have its own private shower room. Not enough to be upset about.

The welcome was great, as was the breakfast. The accommodation was immaculate, to provide dressing gowns was a pleasant rarity. We were only there for one night but would go back.

Wonderful welcome from Charlotte & Gavin, who had already provided information on restaurants nearby. Lovely room with a magnificent view of the Beach & coastline, exceptionally clean & comfortable. Lovely breakfast cooked to my requirements.
