Clever and thoughtful conversion. Lots of helpful foodstuffs left for breakfast, hot drinks, cold drinks. Super clean. Jacky and Roy were lovely kind people. Would definitely book again.

The double bed was up against the wall which was a little inconvenient particularly if you need to get up during the night. The sofa was a little too soft for us but may be perfectly comfortable for other guests.

We parked our car on the drive at the front of the house. The Garden Room is through a lockable gate to the side. It is small and compact but light and airy and well designed, to ensure good use of space. A good selection of breakfast goods were available which was an unexpected bonus. The guest information was comprehensive and included plenty of choice of recommended places to eat. There was free use of wifi with good connection and the private garden which was very well tended and with excellent views of the countryside. Our hosts Roy and Jackie were very welcoming and helpful throughout our stay.

location was perfect for us visiting Waddesdon manor and Blenheim Palace small coffee shop found nearby and lovely pub for dinner host absolutely lovely, made sure we were ok - excellent communication and welcome pack so clean and warm! perfect for couple of nights

Everything was great! We found the shower a bit tricky to stabilise at a warm temperature but this would not put us off returning another time.

Very well appointed in this compact space with lovely views and many extras which were appreciated especially over New Year when shops were closed. And beautifully warm in this cold weather! Would totally recommend for comfortable stay with easy driving access to Waddesdon and other locations.

Location was remote from busy roads, shops, noise in general. Quiet, peaceful, idyllic. “Welcome Pack” was totally unexpected and had pretty much everything you would want. Toiletries were also unexpected and well known brands. The accommodation was spotless and all seemed like new. Didn’t hear it get disturbed by the host, who we saw on leaving and was a very pleasant lady.

It was spotlessly clean set in a beautiful garden with stunning views. Everything you could possibly need was provided, including extra touches including welcome biscuits, breakfast croissants, butter and jam, teas and coffees etc. Toiletries were also provided which was most unexpected.

Our host, Jackie checked before our visit if we wanted the bed moving away from the wall. She also supplied tea, coffee, milk, biscuits, fruit juice and croissants so that we could 'travel light'. The Garden Room is very well thought out, well equipped and beautifully decorated with quality bed linen and towels. The small kitchen has everything you will need to cook simple meals including a small oven with two ring hob, a microwave, kettle and toaster and pans, crockery and cutlery. Jackie really tries to provide everything to make the place a home from home with heaters, a fan, iron, books, playing cards, etc. The location is great in a lovely garden with fields beyond, providing a peaceful night's sleep. Free parking is available on the driveway.

Difficult to think of any negative points, other than the bed was higher than I'm used to, and because I'm short (just over 5ft) with short legs, and I have mobility problems, it was a bit tricky for me to get on and off the high bed. But this definitely wouldn't put me off from staying here again.

A warm, friendly welcome, comfortable stay, with privacy respected, great facilities, wonderful location, couldnt ask for anything more. Everything we needed was available and so much more than expected as well. Well stocked kitchen with croissants, cereals, milk, butter, juice, cookies etc. A lovely, thoughtful touch. Such a shame the weather wasn't better, so we could've enjoyed the beautiful garden too. Definitely would love to stay here again!
