Silverar at breakfast had lots of watermarks on.but having worked in the service in pa's I'm quite fussy about the small things

Lift out of action for for 3days we while we were there not good wen your top floor we didn't request lower floors at time of booking because hotel said it had a lift shower you had to run for about 10 mins to get hot water due to being on top floor sum pressure issue we were lucky with parking but it is on 1st come basis so parking can be an issue

There wasn't really anything not to like as we'd definitely go back. However, the room was very small for a double and very cramped with a dog even though she's tiny. The room had 2 chairs but oddly only 1 bedside cabinet. Chairs seemed unnecessary waste of space. Lift broke down with my partner inside, which freaked my partner out. But the staff raced to get them free. Lift capacity said 4 people, but there was him, our chihuahua and her pram with our jackets and my handbag and got stuck before floor 1. So carrying the pram up and down the stairs was a bit of a pain but not a problem.

Hotel was a lot nicer than expected for the price. The staff were amazing and really friendly. Nothing was too much trouble. The hotel was lovely and clean throughout. Always came back and the tea/coffee had been topped up and bed made etc. Only 5 minute walk to the pier and town perfect location would definitely come back.

It felt rather old fashioned, with heavy carpet and dated furniture and design as well as dirty walls and window frames. My room was downstairs, on the corner and I felt a bit exposed as it was a residential street, but needed the windows open as it was the middle of summer. The bathroom was newer, but unfortunately did smell like the pipes had an issue later in the night. The bar doesn't have a smoking/outdoors terrace.

The staff were very friendly and there was wheelchair access. The bathroom was modern and the bed comfortable. It was located very close to the main esplanade, but far back enough so the noises didn't keep me awake.

Car park is too small so you may struggle to park if hotel is very busy

Shower wasn't very good was very hard to get get a normal temperature Bathroom could do with a refresh but was still clean and tidy. Think it's dog friendly as heard a dog bark through out the night.

Wi-fi didn't work in bedroom. TV had an indoor Ariel so reception was a bit sketchy. Mattress could be replaced and upgraded

Location was excellent, right near the pier/beach/town centre. Live entertainment in the evenings.

The bed was so soft that I sank down when I sat on it. It's like a maze which was nice, however, you could find your room easy enough but you wouldn't be able to find your way back to the lift/stairs. Although pleasant and clean enough, I won't be staying again.

Pleasant, clean sheets and towels but cobwebs in every corner. For an old building, nice and modern decor. Lots of older guests and music playing loudly till 10.30pm.
