We had a wonderful stay here. Very clean, very well kept, wonderful helpful staff, a superb breakfast giving the perfect start into pur days! The room has a very narrow ceiling. Tall gentlemen please mind your head!

Such a wonderful place for a short trip stay. I'm very impressed with all the good facilities; the attention to all the detail was remarkable！We arrived early than check in time, but they just let us in really fast. It was the cutest room I ever stayed in! It was very warm all the time! Really really clean room with super comfortable bed! And they serve really nice breakfast! Definitely 100 out of 10 Highly highly highly recommend!

Beautiful location very picturesque. The team were unbelievably helpful and the ladies at breakfast couldn’t do enough for me. I stayed for work purposes but would definitely visit for a cheeky getaway as the whole experience was just lovely.

Did not stay long enough!

The charm of the inn..rooms, decor, grounds were all lovely. There was free parking and it is not far from Seven Sisters. The food was amazing. We only booked for one night but wish we has stayed a few days as there is so much to see and do in the area. Everything was great and would come here again!

My husband is 6’4” and the low beamed ceilings were challenging 😀

Have always wanted to stay here our favourite little village in East Sussex. The rooms were spotless and beds were super comfortable. The breakfast was also amazing!

Nothing to dislike. Breakfast could be better but I’m being fussy and the staff made up for any less than fantastic impression. The sink in bathroom was a bit small. Otherwise fantastic

The inn is in a beautiful location and the building itself is lovely. The staff were very friendly, especially Julie at breakfast. The breakfast was delicious, beautifully cooked and with plenty of choice. We dined in with family and friends on one of our 2 nights, and had a very good meal. Our room was very comfortable and the hospitality tray contained everything you could possibly want.

The beds were very soft

We loved the old rustic charm while being modern and comfortable. It was the perfect location for us after having walked the Seven Sisters from Seaford. A bus stop is a short walk away which is well serviced by the coaster bus so it's convenient to go from there to either Eastbourne or Seaford and Brighton. The breakfast was delicious and staff were great.

Very tight staircase and entrance into the accommodation and the room ceiling height is very low. Me being just 1.71m had hit my head a few times while in the room. Wifi password was not given upon check-in but managed to figure it out anyway so no need to go to reception to ask for it.

The design and theme of the room. Very clean and great water pressure in bathroom. Very unique inn with lots of characters. Friendly staff and good breakfast.
