Beautiful detached bungalow, set in an idyllic peaceful location. Roomy, modern, and impeccably clean. Fully furnished with every comfort you could ever need, a true home from home. Amazing hosts, friendly, helpful, they really made our stay a dream … Thank You. Located in a quiet village, but with shop & local amenities just a 3 minute walk away. Huge & well looked after local pub does very good food, has a pool room to the rear, and is very welcoming all round. Colby is situated in a great spot for easy access to all the delights of the south of the island, and Douglas is an easy (and scenic using the coast road) drive away. If you do drop the car of an evening, the local bus service is reliable and cheap. It’s very straightforward to get out and about using public transport. Twelvety Stars Out Of Ten All Round !

Lovely location in a quiet village. Cottage is well equipped and spotless ly clean . Friendly welcoming hosts and comfortable beds. Couldn't ask for more. Delicious marmalade.Thank you Sue and Sally for looking after us so well

We had a wonderful stay. The hosts were very hospitable and friendly. The accommodation had everything you needed. It is in a great location for catching the steam train, busses, for exploring the rest of the IOM and for walking- colby Glen is stroll away. We really enjoyed our stay.

Perfect. A super spot. The best hosts ever. So helpful. Spotlessly clean and well equipped. A great location. Bus stop and station are just at the bottom of the lane. A super pub 100 meters away but not open on Monday and Tuesday. Possibly different in season. A Spar just round the corner. 100%

I can’t sing its praises highly enough; the property and our hosts made this really feel like a home away from home. It was exceptionally clean and facility-wise it was really well-equipped for our week’s stay. The beds were also incredibly comfortable and we slept like logs! I would say that the property pictures really don’t do it justice and it’s set in a beautiful scenic and quiet location too. There is a little local convenience store and a great pub just a short walk away should you need it. It’s also really easy to get everywhere even if you don’t have a car, as it’s well served by the bus and even a pretty steam railway! Our hosts were unbelievable and awesome and nothing was too much trouble either. A lovely experience overall and we were very sad to leave after our week’s stay. I can’t recommend this place enough, you won’t be disappointed and we just can’t wait to return!

Nothing - it was really super!

Superb. Very thoughtful, well appointed, brilliant and thorough selection of maps/info/timetables etc. Extremely comfortable mattresses (not all squishy, nice and supportive!). Had everything you could need, nice and cosy, stunning garden to wake up to. Great location - Colby has a station but also right on the bus routes to Port St Mary & Port Erin. And great walk up to Cregneash from the property if you're up for it, maybe an hour and a half or so.

Location, we wanted space away from the race to relax and the location was perfect 25 mins from Douglas. The hosts went out of their way to help, letting us use the garage to store and work on the bikes. Property was clean and everything in good working order.

beautiful location. Run by a lovely mother and daughter combo who couldn’t have been more helpful or friendly. Would go back any time! will be rebooking for when we can return to the island for the TT. they even let us use the garage for the bikes!
