Would be nice to have some more vegetarian continental options, and possible labels for some food items and the sugar bowl to be covered.

The decorative finishes were a bit poor. Grouting around the bath was coming away, and the paint was on areas it shouldn't have been. More towels in the room would be good.

The room was spacious and the location was great for us.

There was no cooked breakfast, just cereal, pastries and yoghurt with fruit and Tea and coffee. A bit basic but would be greatly improved by a warm English breakfast or even bacon buttie or beans on toast.

The lodges were very private and comfortable for the price. The compound was very high tech. The views at breakfast were great looking over the water. The little farm section by the reception had amazing animals like a white peacock, white emu's, goats and a large pig with dogs wandering, very animal friendly.

Sad that we had to leave

It was very scenic and peaceful place to stay for the weekend. Bedroom was spacious and lovely and it was a lovely touch them adding a couple of birthday decorations for my boyfriend as we stayed for his birthday weekend. The breakfast was nice and simple and loved that you could go back up for more if you wanted. Staff were amazing and helped us with any queries! We will be back soon!!

Breakfast was included in our stay. When we arrived on Monday afternoon, we were told to help ourselves to free tea or coffee. When we went to have a look around, we found the food and bits from breakfast that morning were still laid out and hadn't been covered up. This put us off the breakfast for our stay. We were also told the day before arrival that the restaurant was closed for the season.

The scenery was beautiful and peaceful. It was exactly what we were hoping for on our trip. The bed was comfortable, and we loved sitting out of the decking reading whilst listening to the rain over the lake. The LED lighting in the room was an excellent touch, being able to choose the colour to suit your mood and definitely made a difference from the harsh lighting you can often get in hotel rooms. The TV was a perfect size, and there was also an Alexa to play music on. I absolutely adored the goats and the pig! Great value for the money we paid. Would definitely return.

I’d travelled for 6 hours and when it said onsite snacks I had presumed u could get something light for dinner. Must be my error on interpretation of snacks. Only Vending machines and were just chocolate/crisps or pop type ones. But the machines by lodge were empty aside from mars bars and yorkies. So as soon as I arrived, had to leave to go find food locally. It is a little noisy if you are adjoining families with children - floorboards being lodges make quite a lot of noise when lots of feet on them.

Waking up in the morning to ducks swimming past your decking is just lovely.

Very minor points: Vending machine outside block was very low on stock and drinks on switched off Toilet roll holder needed in bathroom Missing fire extinguisher? Looked like a bracket was there for one just no extinguisher. Breakfast area was a bit messy, machines probably need a bit of a pull out and deep clean

Lovely spacious room, really nice location and the hot tub was lovely Beds and sofas really comfortable and the mood lighting around the room was a nice touch. Easy to use heating and lighting too! Room was very clean throughout and looked lovely upon arrival. The location is really quiet too with very little noise from local roads. Given the size of the location, this place is a hidden gem, and with continuous little improvements can be a massive credit to the local area

Breakfast was OK, but cutlery and plates were a bit dirty

Nice place,came here to do a bit of fishing. There's only 3 pegs available as far as I know.Will definitely visit again in the near future.
