Bit noisy in room

The lift wasn't working which made me getting to my room painful.

It was tired and dated, lacks maintenance. The lift was out of order as was the tv service. Judging by the signs both had been for some time. Staff were slow to react to anything. For example, requested a small bottle of Prosecco after 10 mins was told no-one had the key for that fridge. During the wedding breakfast, people were shown into the room to see the venue, had to explain why the bride may not want her wedding used as advertising!

Omar! He was the only staff member that seemed to know what he was doing.

Didn’t have a good nights sleep as the pillows were inadequate, had 2 but might aswell had been one as they were very thin , most hotels offer additional pillows in the room. Cups were inadequate for a drink as it was one mouthful a mug would have been better

For some reason the bed was electric and the bottom and top could move up and down. However, it wasn’t obvious until I lay down on the bed that my side had never been fully flat so I was at an angle and ended up sleeping upside down at the end on the flat part of the bed.

We chose the location as it was a short drive to Heathrow Airport.

All fixtures and fittings a bit dated. The carpets could do with a clean and the lift hasn’t worked for over a year. With no porter you need to travel light!

Stained carpets and door, heating left on in room so when i arrived I had to open all windows. Hairs in bath from previous guest. TV did not work which I had a note under the door but the internet TV didnt work either which was strange. Electric Bed was broken as well.

Perfect location for us to attend a family gathering nearby but if you’re interested in local attractions there’s nothing walkable.

there was no hot water on one of the evenings we couldn't use the shower which was inconvenient. we were not offered a refund which was disappointing my partner had to ask them, they were obliging and gave us 30% off the bill.

the bed was extremely comfortable. It was an ideal place to stay close to the hospital as my son was an in patient on a ward. I would suggest this hotel is not perhaps as suitable without a vehicle it's a little further out , we were using ubers which cost £8 two trips per day.

Nothing really. Not mad about the decor, but I had a great night's sleep.

The room was very comfortable. The bed was really big, the mattress very comfortable, the room was a nice temperature. The curtains were opaque, so no light getting in. It was quiet. Everything worked.

The location being out of the way, surrounded by green & woods, but that means there isn't many restaurants around.

The hotel is a little dated, it feels as if it could use a makeover. I think the staff are doing their very best with the facilities they have. It was unfortunate that our room (26) had two large external vents running either side of the window, these were very noisy. Also the lift was not working (this was mentioned some time ago by guests in previous reviews). To be fair ,there was a notice on the lift to say that help could be provided should it be needed. Personally , I found the pillows to be too small and shallow (this of course is down to personal taste). Probably in its current state , the hotel is 3 star not 4 star.

The staff were wonderful, welcoming , helpful and courteous. The gentleman who served us our evening meal was particularly friendly and efficient. The meal we had in the evening was excellent. Breakfast was very good but some yoghurt and fresh fruit would have been nice. It was good value for money. I would stay there again.
