Booked as a birthday treat, a great place for a night or two, particularly if you fancy something a little different, stayed in a cosy carriage and breakfast was fab. Nearest eatery "Badgers" very convenient, would recommend you book ahead of your stay to guarantee a table.

Owing to the nature of rooms, you can feel movement / vibration and hear neighbouring room occupants as they move around.

A beautiful conversion of an old country railway station and original rolling stock from the hey day of luxury travel. Was given a very warm welcome by the staff, the rooms (in actual old carriages) were very clean and well furnished, excellent breakfast and perfectly located near towns and villages to explore just a short drive away, although evening meals are not provided there are many local venues to choose from including the pub right next door.

Carriages in some places need some external redecoration and overhaul. Green emergency lighting illumination indicator very bright and illuminates the room. Wi-Fi unusable, there is 4 wireless access points (SSID) on the site and your device is constantly switching between them so often without signal. A Wi-Fi mesh system would be much better for the site.

Quirky and in a carriage, unique experience. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Parking was good. Mobile signal on O2 and Vodafone working even at 4G! and much much better than reviews suggest.

Welcoming, Spotlessly clean, special place, quirky and memorable. Service was excellent just a few small touches would make this stay exceptional. Rooms are very nicely furnished fitting in with the ambience of the carriage and the bathroom had recently been refurbished. Bedding was beautifully clean and really comfortable. Evening meal in Badgers pub just a few minutes walk away was excellent and would highly recommend to complete a great stay.

Everything was perfect. Our carriage was so pretty, well thought out, and had everything we needed for a wonderful stay. Price was a little steep however it was an unique experience so expect to pay a bit more.

Great to stay in a Pullman carriage, well converted, clean, cozy and comfortable. Loved the ambiance. Breakfast was excellent, gluten free options available. Staff were very helpful and friendly.

Both full English and Continental breakfast were plentiful and nicely presented. Coffee was good.

Would have been nice if heating was on as we arrived although it warmed up quickly.

Love the setting and the nostalgic atmosphere. Breakfast was in the old waiting room with lots of memorabilia. Loved the wooden interior of the carriage and the attention to detail.

Lovely rooms with original features and character and excellent TV with Netflix, Amazon Prime, iPlayer etc. Wonderful full English breakfast served in the former waiting room and easy safe parking right outside.
