I would have liked a firmer pillow for the bed or at least the option of one. I could not find an alternative to the ones provided in the room.

Everything was fine although we were a bit cold. The duvet was very thin and there was no blanket. Aside from that all was good.

Very warm in bedroom even with window open. Obviously short staffed at breakfast. Replenishing breakfast items took a long time to the point that we’d all finished before scrambled eggs arrived.

Location as visiting family in Kimberley. Rooms good size. Bathroom great size and plenty of products

There was a delay with house keeping. We had to wait around 40 minutes or so for the room to be ready. A good gesture would have been to offer a free complimentry hot or cold drink. The toilet in our room seat/rim was super slender, and the toliet lid fell forward on my back quiet a few times. The toilet flush bitton was directly behind the toliet lid, not on top like all other toilets. When housekeeping refilled our room with water, it would have been nice to receive two mini packets of biscuits. It would have been even nicer to have had and extra blanket or pillow in the room.

I truly enjoyed the spa facilities and the food was great, the room and bathroom was clean to a high standard. Overall the hotel is lovely. Oh yes you never know what famous person you may see/ meet at breakfast.

The bar area wasn’t clean. Glasses were dirty, tables not cleaned , sticky etc. following morning there were still stains etc . Such a shame as being in reception this is a focal point for meeting up & people arriving .

Location idea for a family wedding. Check in was easy and Arturs on reception was lovely and welcoming. Room was clean, tidy & comfortable

The room was on the lower ground floor and was very dingy. The price of the meals is high relative to it's quality. The menu was far from exciting. But this is typical hotel fare.

Room was very comfortable and well equipped. Bathroom had clearly just been renovated and was very nice with plenty of good quality toiletries supplied. Bed was very comfortable and nice touch having complimentary bottles of water and tea/coffee as well as take away cups which I have never seen before in a hotel but is such a good idea! Breakfast was really good. Fantastic choice of options and very good quality. One of the best hotel breakfasts I have had in a long time. Very friendly staff at breakfast too. In fact all the staff we had contact with during our stay were very friendly and helpful. Definitely makes a difference having smiley, friendly staff! If we visit Nottingham again, I would most definitely stay here again.

No Sport or film channels in the rooms.

I stayed for 2 nights and every morning woke up from 7am with outside road work it was so loud even in my work meetings people could ear it. I reported to reception.

Location was good, but kind of misleading. It is marketed as the perfect hotel for a stopover on a drive to the north, but in fact, despite being extremely close to the motorway, it is a 15 minutes drive to rejoin the main road, which can be problematic if there is a lot of traffic.

A good hotel with giant free parking and great breakfast. Rooms are spacious and well managed. Staff is polite and well educated on providing the correct level of services.

Our room was located next to the main road and you could hear the traffic. No electric charging points for cars. Brighter lights in the bedroom.

Bed was very soft (sunken in the middle). Limited vegan options at breakfast and they were using single use glasses and cups for cold and hot drinks. The bag for disposal of sanitary items was stuck to the toilet so you couldn’t full push bag the toilet lid!

Reception area was nicely furnished and smelt lovely!
