The hotel checkin in system was down requiring manual check-in and a 25 min wait.

Wonderful room in 541. Small suite in fact which was unexpected. Ideal location for my visit next to Manchester Central and good breakfast.

Very little I didn't like, but I have to mention the doors in the room, both the access door and to the WC were old and needed replacing. That's it!

Such a great hotel, I haven't stayed for a while at a hotel with such spirit and service. Great location and excellent value for money. Lovely spa and pool area and the gym is very spacious. I wished we tried the breakfast but next time !

I would have scored top marks on everything but for some reason we were allocated a room with a wet room/disabled facilities bathroom with a tiny wash hand basin (room 214) As we were only staying for one night didn't request a different room but felt it was inappropriate and if we stay again would put in a request regarding the room but feel this should not be necessary and therefore felt the pricing was excessive as we walked passed all the other rooms which were being cleaned which had a proper bathroom with separate shower etc.

Bathroom wasn't well presented. Poor shower, cracks in ceiling. Bar staff were slow despite it being pretty empty around the bar.

We upgraded our room but it was an ‘accessible type’ so the bathroom was a bit odd. There was a seat in the shower but then a fixed shower head over so had to stoop to wash my hair! And the whole bathroom was soaked

The temperature fan had a mind of its own and operated loudly throughout the night causing a disturbed nights sleep.

1) The lengthy check-in process (10/15 minutes) was a minor inconvenience, albeit understandable due to the new attendant's learning curve. 2) Noise from the tram disrupted morning sleep, detracting slightly from an otherwise pleasant stay.

1) The comprehensive information provided by the new attendant during check-in was helpful in navigating the hotel facilities. 2) Upon entering the hotel, the pleasant smell was inviting, and the opportunity to purchase a personalized candle with the 3) Midlands scent was a memorable touch. 4) Breakfast offered great options, maintained freshness, and the attentive staff added to the overall positive experience. 5) The room exceeded expectations, boasting impressive views that added to the enjoyment of the stay. 6) The location was great, right in the centre of Manchester, making it convenient for exploring the city.

Hotel recommended car park,pre booked parking from 12.30 pm Monday to 2.30 pm Tuesday, arrived 19 minutes early and left 3 hours early but they charged my card £2.90 for those 19 minutes and didn't allow for the 3 hours I didn't usually,beware,conmen.

The tv needs retuning as it only had a few channels. It we were in the room for longer I would have called someone. Also when sitting down by the bar, drinks are completed in one go meaning I had to wait about 10 minutes for my pint to be brought to my table because my partner had a cocktail. We were on a tight schedule so it would have been nice if drinks can be brought as and when or if you had more staff behind the bar instead of bringing to tables.

That there wasn’t a usable mirror in the room and the lighting was poor when trying to do makeup.

The atmosphere was very friendly. The bar staff were very accommodating. The decor was stylish and the building was very clean.

Everything is totally overpriced including the bar and the extra charge for room service. We weren't told about the additional charge the first time we ordered room service and we were shocked to see it was more than the actual cost of the food we ordered - ridiculous!!

Great location for visiting the centre of Manchester. Lovely old style hotel with very elegant and comfortable rooms - wonderful nights sleep.

Room quite small, very few tv channels , other than that nothing, really enjoyed.

Bed was incredibly comfy, complimentary water, great location, hotel areas very glamorous! Local shops and restaurants nearly. Good transport links
