Decorations in the bathroom was very tied. The mirror had marks around the edges Paint flaking on the ceiling The door was in a terrible state at the bottom and down the side of the bath in the corner by the door. Was travelling alone was in a room with tree beds.

Unfortunately my stay was ruined by the guests in the next room who argued from 10pm til 12.45am and started again at 3.45am, so didn't get much sleep. Did ring reception to complain but didn't improve.

On arrival a little early was told abruptly by the girl in reception that check in wasn't until 3 pm and never asked if we wanted to put our luggage in storage until our return thought this was a bit unprofessional and rude at breakfast we were told to sit on a sofa until he could find us a table there were plenty of empty tables then he forgot about us only had 15 minutes left to order and eat

Noisy floor boards above us and inconsiderate guests noisy very early in the morning - shouting and banging doors.

Location perfect for us, staying due to local event. Clean room.

Can’t find a fault worth mentioning.

The room was quite cosy, bijou even, but exceptionally clean. The staff were welcoming and helpful. The location is very convenient. Literally 1 minute walk from the station. Tesco across the street. Room service was decent.

I was a bit unhappy that when I arrived the helium balloons I paid extra for was on the floor i came for my boyfriends birthday and wanted to add a extra touch was quite upset about this

The receptionist never brought the spare quilt The area we stayed in was very noisy so we couldn’t open the window especially the road sweeping machines from 7.30 on a Sunday

Bathrooms are slightly dated compared to the main bedroom.

Good location, train station opposite but no noise from the train line. Good parking (not part of the hotel) £5 for overnight parking. Room is very clean and comfy. Modern rooms. Nice bar downstairs.

Too hot in the room, even with the air conditioner all the way down. The air conditioner too loud in the room, no option to open the window in my room. The water in the shower was well too hot, couldn’t bring it down and had to take bath instead.

Coffee making really annoying - having to empty sachets and packets onto surface when using cups, really needs separate container Pillows were very hard. My neck ached when I awoke each morning but in truth I didn’t ask for replacement,so maybe there were other types.

Room and bathroom were fine. Very clean. Towels and toiletries very nice. If travelling by train perfect, just across street. Staff excellent - very helpful, knowledgable and so friendly ….. all with smiles. Impressive 🩷

The bathroom was not very clean. One of the glasses in the bathroom was dirty and the toilet was not very clean.

Excellent location. The room was cosy and the beds were very comfortable. The biscuits was a nice extra touch, along with the teas and coffees in the room. The staff were very friendly and professional.

Road sweepers and leaf blowers outside the hotel on 3 mornings made it an early start. The lift did not work the whole week we was there.
