Both myself and my friend had to move rooms. My rooms mattress was awful but I was swiftly helped to another room even though the hotel were full and my friends room had too much light coming in and a wonky floor but again she was accommodated amazingly.

Breakfast was really good and the food in general was excellent but what made it great was Christine. She was utterly fantastic as we had to move rooms

I was locked of bathroom early morning need to go to bathroom and door pulled up didn't that would Cound not open do at 5am had a comfrence also when out in night dress with coat to see if there was any one no one tried the information left on table phone number no one tried phoning on phone in room no one went out at 6.30am door locked came back phone hotel still no at reception had to phone person that was going to comfrence with they told me use a 5 pence coin to try open door as was desperate to go bath room do should never be locked in thar way that can not open back as dangerous as was frighten when when in again if would locked me in at 7.30 am after sorting my self went reception saw lady opening door I told her what happened said when I phone some one should have been there there was no one to answer phone call I was disappointed as had to rush to was after and did not even have time to have a cup tea are coffee was told would let manager no to ring me as yet had no call belive should be compensated from the stress cause there should be some thing Written in book how to contact in case of emergency for that reason don't belive would book to stay again on that basis as cause undue stress as need to use bathroom as was not able to do so

The room was very small and very warm. The water heater behind the wall kicked in around 7.15 am and sounded like a massive kettle. The extractor fan in the bathroom sounded like a washing machine. Avoid room 20. Dance music was blaring out until 3 am, some clowns in the courtyard... Really!

No real problems.

Always an enjoyable trip to the Cock Hotel in Stoney Stratford, visiting friends in the area. Hotel is well positioned in the town’s Main Street with a good free car park behind the hotel. Good selection of shops , pubs, cafes and restaurants nearby plus the good hotel’s bar and restaurant.

Slow bar man.. lack of gluten free breakfast option

Beautiful building and lovely rooms, staff super friendly, although bar man may be on training..? No gluten free option for breakfast.. but the rest of the food was amazing.. value of room was brilliant.. we will definitely stay again

Booked 2 rooms for myself and daughter we were put in rooms at opposite parts of the hotel! Shower very difficult to turn on.

Staff really helpful and friendly. Great service in bar. Good breakfast.

Not so much a don't like but a be aware that the church clock chiming the hour can be heard from some of the rooms at the front. It doesn't bother us but it may be an issue for some.

We've stayed here a few times now. It's a lovely old coaching inn, perfectly situated in the centre of the town

It could have been cleaner. Dusty and dirty in the corners and carpet was bitty, like it needed a good hoover
