Lovley warm welcome from landlady, we stayed in the down stairs apartment which was spacious, spotless & well catered for. The Landlord & Lady made our stay welcoming, friendly & we were grateful they took time to tell us the story of the pub, thank you. Fantastic views from the fround of the pub, the live music put on by the local Musicians was a wonderful surprise on Thursday. The food was great, recommend the home cooked pies, the steak & ale which was filled to the brim with big chunks of steak, came with big dish of buttered vegetables on the side which were so good we had them again the next evening. Highly recommend.

Both the breakfast and the evening meal were really good pub food. In the evening our party had steak and ale pie, gammon, egg and chips and fish and chips. All were very well received and the bill was very reasonable by current standards. Good range of local real ale in the bar. The view out of our bedroom window was spectacular.

Great location right next to the Malvern hills, excellent staff, large apartment has everything you need with some nice little extras such as complimentary jug of milk, condiments such as salt, pepper, sugar, tea and washing up liquid etc. Apartment was clean and tidy, highly recommend

There was a mix-up with a food order but the staff were very apologetic and deducted the incorrect part of the order from the bill.

I can't think of anything particularly, except perhaps the door to access upstairs where the rooms are. The door is very stiff (the owner did warn us about this), we found it easiest to enter via the pub instead.

The room was warm and very comfortable. The breakfast and food at the pub was excellent, I'd definitely recommend eating there. The location was great for walking by the Malverns, and not a very long walk from the town either.

The evening meal was reasonable but could have been better. On the whole our stay was very enjoyable and we have no complaints.

Stopped over for 1 night on the way home. Location for walking our dog was excellent. The pub was very friendly with lovely staff. Our room was spacious and comfortable. The full English breakfast was excellent. The evening meal was average. I would recommend this pub.

Although the bedroom was very nice, I didn't sleep very well, and would have preferred a thinner duvet.

Breakfast was superb and service excellent. In theory, the location was wonderful (and beautiful view over Great Malvern), except I have mobility difficulties, so don't like hills! So my problem. Fantastic place for walkers to stay.

Fair old hill to walk up but going down great

The view is worth going up the hill . Stunning. Lovely food and drink great people . Highly recommend a stay here and would definitely go there again
