Excellent location, parking is an issue but you can park up the road at the college but you have to go there by 9am everyday to pay for the day. The pub was great and a good atmosphere. Overall well happy with our stay.

The Windsor Trooper Pub and Inn is exactly as advertised. We enjoyed the casual, local vibe and felt right at home. Though we could see a large section of the pub's patio from the room's window, noise was never an issue, In fact, we joined in with the merry making, enjoying delicious pizza from the food truck and the pub's selection of brews. Walking to Windsor Castle allowed us to see the main street of Windsor, and the train station is also within easy walking distance.

Just one point of feedback is that there was no wardrobe or anywhere to hang up the clothes we had so had to use the back of the chairs which wasn’t ideal for evening wear.

The property is in a great location just a short walk into the town centre. We didn’t visit the pub itself just called in for the room keys. The staff were very welcoming and helpful. The apartment was ideal for the 3 of us. There was a kitchen with fridge, toaster etc. it was clean and tidy and slightly quirky and charming.

Not a deal breaker at all but slightly dark room and firm mattress.

Good location for parking college car park , walk to castle/town centre not far and straight forward. Clean and tidy room just decorated , plenty of sockets , large tower fan , plenty of mirrors , good shower , bedding and towels good quality .Had room number 5 next to beer garden as requested great for nipping into your room from pub if required .Zero noise from beer garden after 10pm as customers are asked to go indoors suited us perfectly. Pizza van Friday night ,Saturday morning coffee van and Saturday night jamaican food all good. Nearby costa, Indian and Turkish restaurants if you don`t want to walk far. The pub itself is what I call a proper pub great atmosphere with local people , the staff are an asset to the pub polite, chatty and super efficient at the bar.

Even though rooms where separate to the pub whenever a guest closes a door you can hear it and it seems so loud.

Found some (4) long dark hairs in shower and bathroom! (Didn’t book Hilton so can’t really complain) Was noisy outside, though very much expected staying at a pub, ear plugs should have been provided in the room. (Sorry if seems picky! But thought should be mentioned)

We were on the 2nd floor & it was hard to get the bags down when leaving due to the pub not opening until 11am, there was no one to assist.

What a little gem this is. The apartment was spotless and well equipped for our family. The staff were friendly and went out of their way to help when I (stupidly) left my iPad behind. A short walk from Windsor centre and well located for Legoland where we were going on to visit. I was worried about noise before visiting and needn't have, the pub was quiet on the Sunday night we stayed and the kids slept perfectly.

The room was Very hot, as it is at the top of the building I had the fan on full blast and the window open and was so hot I still struggled to sleep. Maybe these top rooms could have air con installed to make them more comfortable in the summer. Also the front door did not self close, so when I arrived back late the door was wide open, this made me uncomfortable as when I was in my room I didn’t know if others were going to leave the door open and allow access to anyone from the street. Maybe the door could have a weighted close on it to ensure it shuts.

Beer garden could get noisey in the evening which was a distraction for my young children who were trying to sleep. Bathroom was a little small. Patrons were looking up at the room so privacy was an issue particularly if the blinds were not pulled close. Only food available was at the rotating food carts in the laneway. Other food options were nearby.

Three single beds in the room which was ideal for me and my 2 young children.

Could do with a mini fridge as a basic addition, wardrobe door was broken. Not a fan of shower curtains either....a glass door would be better.
