It got very hot at night. Roof lights couldn’t be opened as too high up. We had to sleep with entrance door ajar to get air into the room .

Done with charme and individually decorated . Spacious. All mod cons working such as tv and Internet access. Good parking. Quiet. Lovely evening walks. Owner very friendly, helpful and welcoming.

Here are a few things that need some work under my point of view - Internet: The internet is slow and we had some troubles connecting to the WiFi. Finally, out of the 3 options, the open one (No Password) was the best one. (we had troubles with the internet and the phone signal everywhere around the Yorkshire Dale) (we use Giffgaff) - TV: we did not have much time for it but at the end of the day and before go to sleep we turn it on there is a pin for all the programs (Quick text and problem solved) we enjoy few films both nights. - Small fridge: it is great to keep some water or juices in there but it makes a lot of noise during the night (first night was a nightmare) but easy solution (second night Fridge OFF) So Here it is what I will do in these situation the same information that I get by text message the check in day you can print it out and make a little book with some more information in there (Tv Pin, Internet etc) and some tips about the room and how to enhance the experience live that book in the room.

2 nights and 3 days in the Yorkshire dales to celebrate my partner's Birthday. The place is well located close to Richmond where you can find all the facilities that you may need (restaurants, pubs, shops etc). We spent most of our time exploring the place as it was our first time in the yorkshire Dales. So just use the place to sleep at night and for that it was perfect Good Size room with toilet and shower plenty facilities in the room as a fridge, drawer, kettle with coffee tea and milk shelf unit chairs etc. Quiet place good night sleep and a confortable bed was all we need.

Good base for exploring the local area. Plenty of tea and coffee provided in the room. Nicely decorated and owners are helpful.

Couldn’t open the windows or blinds, or turn the heating down. Got too hot during the night and had to open the door for half an hour.

Lovely large interior with seating area, fridge and some crockery. Good shower and comfy bed. Really nice.

I booked last minute and didn't read the confirmation email/message that told me what I needed to do when arriving at the property so I was a little confused as to how to get in. I know what to do next time! I struggled to get the shower to work !!

I've not been able to access my WhatsApp for a few weeks and just got back into it now, only to find the instruction telling me which room I was booked into (for this and my previous stay) ....just a word of warning, I guess, that I didn't get the message when WhatsApp wasn't working, so hope I didn't stay in the wrong room as I had to do some guess work when I arrived for the self service check in. Oh, also, I couldn't get the TV to work ....although it didn't matter really.

Gorgeous room, with lovely lounge area too. Extremely comfortable bed and a handy fridge. ....I have to add as well, as I just re-read my previous feedback from last time I stayed, when I said this wasn't as I expected ....the first time I came, it wasn't as expected - it was BETTER :) ....Thought I'd better clarify as looking back at what I wrote, I think it sounds too negative which I really didn't mean it to be ....sorry!!!!!

We couldn't get the TV to tune in to any channels and mobile reception was very patchy but these things are not necessarily bad things.

Although I was a bit confused on arrival as no welcome card as suggested on the door, I quite liked the self check- in and out😊

Dark, no lights on the front as I arrived. Felt a little unsure walking down the dark corridor to the back of the property. Was glad when I met the owner there, just by chance, who was very helpful and welcoming.

Not quite as I expected with rooms straight out to the courtyard, but very comfortable, clean and modern design. All I needed for a quick overnight stay.

Nothing not to like apart from signal and the weather

The room was lovely and clean and well presented. It even had its own fridge which no other places offer. The shower was lovely and hot! Just what i needed after work. No corner spared when building these all high end finished. Also came with a fire stick in the flatscreen tv

Great place, nice and simple for an escape. Lovely village to stroll. Short drive to Richmond for dinner and a wander. Thankful for the pub over the road for a nice pint before bed.

Not a case of "didn't like". The signal on the TV wasn't great, but it really wasn't a big deal. Couldn't be helped.

Rooms were clean and spacious and were just what we were after. Very short distance from Richmond. The staff were very helpful, but also left us to it.

Internet signal kept dropping out so couldn't make use of the TV but wasn't a big deal. There was a green light in the ceiling that glowed all night but if you wear an eye mask you won't notice it. I am a light sleeper so it did disturb me.

Really friendly hosts. Lovely room with en-suite shower room. Very clean. Good recommendations from the hosts for local places to eat for dinner and breakfast. Would recommend.
