The Wifi connection. Dinner needed to be ordered by 8.30pm, which for most would suit, but we would have been happier if it served until 9.00pm.

Breakfast was cooked to order and very good. Evening Meal was very enjoyable. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Although on the main road, the rooms at the back were quite quiet. Well situated for getting to lots of places.

We were disappointed with dinner - burgers and chips very basic for price we paid, not tasty

A first world problem but the only thing that could be improved was the TV signal. Free view was available but most of the channels had poor signal, and would loose reception through a program so gave up trying to watch it.

Location Food - kept local where possible. Good portions and great flavour. Variety of options. Staff - very friendly and helpful. Room layout - good space to up pack and put bags. Bed was really comfortable and allowed a great night sleep. Good water pressure for shower and bath Awareness of environmental impact - provided environmental soap and shower gel.

felt very relaxed & enjoyed our 3 nights away I can’t find anything that we didn’t like plenty of parking surrounded by lovely countryside

The room was spacious very clean & the bed very comfortable. Plenty of natural light. Food in the restaurant was very good & the staff were all very polite. Everyone made us feel very welcome & nothing was too much trouble. Especially when dining in the restaurant be it breakfast or dinner Craig & Lewis always looked after us very well . We will definitely return in the future.

Continental breakfast could have been better. Pity the hotel was on a very busy road and some way out of Arundel.

Good sized room with comfortable bed. Staff welcoming and helpful. Dinner was very good.

Nothing significant. The pillows were slightly too hard and the knives were blunt.

Good location for exploring the south coast. Arundel is a nice little village, with a castle and several good cafes and restaurants, which can be reached in a pleasant 15 minute walk through woodland and fields of horses. The receptionist kindly showed us how to get to the path and gave directions. The evening meals and beer were good, reasonable value but not cheap. We didn’t have breakfast. There was plenty of free parking.

I thought the breakfast choices were a bit disappointing. The bread was just white or brown sliced, maybe some fresh bread rolls would have been nice and some granola and Greek yogurt, but it was standard cereals and not much choice. Some fresh fruit would have been preferable to "tinned" grapefruit segments. The croissants looked nice and fresh, but it would have been good to have more choice - maybe pain au chocolat or pain au raisins, as well. The free coffee and tea options were pretty standard. We paid extra for a cappuccino and a flat white, which came from a machine. They looked unappetising and tasted bitter and powdery - which was disappointing.

Josh, the barman, was so friendly and helpful when we sat in the bar and planned our evening, which included dinner at the hotel. He helped us with wine and food choices and we really enjoyed our time there. The bed in our room was so comfortable, I struggled to get up in the morning!

Available over bank holiday. It is possible to walk there from the town center despite it goes on the main road, there are some nice shortcuts in the countryside.

Decor in some areas of the bar and restaurant in need of updating. Kept awake by a constant engine or fan like droning noise - and it wasn’t the extractor fan in the bathroom - i think it was outside. Audible even with the window closed.

Shower and bath were awkward to use as the taps were against the wall so were different to use but this is a minor point as worked it out in the end

Room was very nice and comfortable, pub and restaurant was very nice and a nice distance to walk into Arundale via the woodland path. Lovely breakfast and dinner in the restaurant

The outside of building being renovated but feel a little more attention needed inside. Marks on walls in dinning area and quite a few stains on the seats in the bar come dinning area. Although there was lots of touristy leaflets in entrance there was no information book in bedrooms I.e. times of meals, local attractions or how heating operated. Not sure if all room are the same but the bath/shower would not be accessible to anyone with lower limb ailments. No alternative room offered.

Staff very attentive, Lewis at breakfast very helpful.
