No access for disabled people, no lift which is a shame, considering how good the rest of the visit was. A lift would enable all abilities to enjoy the clean rooms and good food.

Can get quite busy in bar area, little bit of wait for reception staff to check us in as they man the bar area also. Car park quite small with limited spaces, cost of 1 night stay alittle higher than we would have liked.

Stayed here for 1 night as a.couple, so overall nice hotel. Room was family Size with double bed and sofa bed, facilities in room were good although limited tv channels. Can't fault the standard of cleanliness in our room and rest of the hotel, bar/restaurant area. Service in bar, restaurant was good and the menu and cost of drinks was exceptional for being in Edinburgh. Down side the car park fills up quickly with people going for food and drink so no guarantee of parking if staying as a guest. Also the price for 1 night stay was alot higher than we would have liked in comparison to other hotels nearer to Edinburgh centre however Taxi and public transport network good. We would return but hopefully grab another stay here at less cost if possible.

Only minor criticism is that there are not enough power sockets.

Location is superb an easy bus trip to both the city centre and the airport. Food and drink is well priced and staff are very accommodating.

Liked all the staff. Bar tenders were lovely and friendly. Room had everything we needed. Duvet and pillows were lovely. Bathroom nice and clean and lots of tea/coffee facilities in room Reception called us taxi and we were able to catch a bus to right across the road from hotel on way home.. It was perfect for our visit. Thank you.

I'm ot sure if there is a lift/if it is wheelchair accessible.

Our room was stylish, decent size, modern and very clean. All the usual facilities,. friendly and helpful staff. Even better you've got the pub downstairs, the staff were helpful and knowledgeable and a decent breakfast in the morning. Perfect for the airport, only 9mins away. Parking round the back.

Having a fridge would have been great. Late check out possible but I had to struggle to get in contact. Price a little bit expensive.

Would have preferred a room at the end of the corridor, this may possibly have saved me from two inconsiderate loud mouths who were chatting and laughing at 1.30am! in a room that was either next to or opposite mine. When I checked out I pressed the bell for reception attention and nobody came. Just as well my room was already paid and there was a box to leave the room card.

I was given a room on the second (top) floor. It was tastefully decorated and had a partial attic design as the end wall was sloped with two windows that had pull down shutters. Generous well equipped bathroom and easy to control shower in bath. Good meal selections all at times of the day in the restaurant. The hotel is well situated on a main road with shops and other restaurants close by and several bus services run on this road.

Booked for my parents to have a wee getaway, also so they could visit the zoo. They had a really lovely time! Said the service was excellent, very clean/comfortable rooms and the bar/restaurant area was lovely. Also great location with plenty of shops etc in the area.

there is limited parking on the property. the pub patrons take a lot of the spots. no elevator so you have to carry your luggage up stairs.

location great for getting to the airport. although there is a great pub under the hotel, there was zero noise coming from the pub.
