Bed was comfortable enough, but a double bed made of 2 single mattresses, which sometimes can be tricky. It wasn't for me.

Very clean and neat, with good amenities (coffee, chocolate, water) and all the basics covered (towels, hair dryer, etc). It is refreshing to stay in a comfortable place that seems like a home.

We got a small room facing the main street, so it was a bit noisy on the weekend and the air got a bit heavy overnight.

Above all, it was a great stay and it commenced before our arrival, when our request for a late check-in was promptly acommodated. Likewise, leaving our luggage at the premises after checking out was not an issue, we felt cared for because of that. The property has a brillian location and is very well looked-after. The wifi is very fast, there are complementary coffee and tea. The bed is short (I'm 1.90m) but the linens are superb. Highly recommended!

Very comfortable and cosy room number 1. Nice balcony, good bed and Nespresso machine. Perfect for holidays. Near by is cafe Rust where is outstanding breakfast options.

The hosts were exceptionally responsive to making sure that my stay was comfortable. The room was clean and modern, including an expresso maker in the room. There were helpful suggestions for restaurants. When I had a problem the hosts were kind and helpful.

Very, very hot & sleepless night. No aircon, nor fan. Winter bedclothes (med/heavy comforter) on bed. Proprietor has gone to trouble of fitting out very nicely, incl double glazing - surely makes for a cosy nest in the cooler months but is a stifling, sweaty - albeit well appointed - little sauna in summer. Could be easily remedied.

Honestly, I cant fault it at all.

Very comfy, very quiet, faultlessly clean, lovely room. Good size room and bathroom. Easy to check in and out. Did not meet staff but service via intercom to be let into the building and I was later texted to check all was ok. I will absolutely stay here if I stay in brighton again.

We had rooms 7 and 10, both were perfect for us as solo travelers. They would also be great for a couple. The tea/coffee stations were a perfect addition, plus extra points for the Yorkshire tea! Check-in and out were easy.

Older house, so lots of creaks and noise from room above. A little on the pricey side given lack of breakfast. Scaffolding up at present, which would have been fine but there were workmen on site during the first couple of hours of our stay which was a bit unsettling.
