On the website it's advertised as serving food and they don't do food only breakfast it wosnt mager as there is plenty of places around and not to far were you can get food.

The room was lovely and it was a big room with a sofa in so you could sit an watch tv we had a table in there so we could eat our food there was a big wardrobe and it wosnt to noisy with it being a pub aswell the room was clean and the bed comfortable.

Whilst the room and bedding were clean the decor is a bit tired. The kettle was on the floor as lead didn't reach the top of the chest of drawers and due to uneven floors (old building and we were right at the top) it kept switching on and off. It did work though.

Location, we attended an event in Sandall Park. It was a good price for a large room for 3 people

Hard to close the shower door as it was a bit loose. Having to get up early on a Sunday for a cooked breakfast to allow them time to prepare lunch.

The property is situated in the centre of Doncaster so easy to get to lots of places. The bed was super comfy and clean as was the room in general. Modern TV, bedside lamp, plenty natural light into the room with bee convenient large mirror. Tea, coffee and kettle in the room. En-suite bathroom with mirror was very clean.

The coffee at breakfast was instant and not ground/bean, picky I know but I like my coffee.

The breakfast was great, hot and tasty. Plenty of TV's and great if you love sport, the location was right near the centre, easy to go anywhere. They are open to the public when serving breakfast and can get busy.

the lack of evening meals --we were given to understand these would be available, but it seems only at weekends. Also, only one choice of cereal at breakfast---we would say the cooked part of the meal was very good.

Mattress on the bed needs replacing but that being said, we slept okay. The property is a little tired and could do with updating but fine for what we paid.

The hotel was good value for money, the room was basic but clean and comfortable. Staff were friendly and professional. We paid extra for breakfast but it was worth it, we both had full English and it was very tasty.

The room was sparsely furnished. The radiators were turned off when I arrived and, even after turning them on, the room was on the cool side. I doubt that they had been bled for a while. No shelf or towel rail by the wash basin. The bathroom was spartan, with no shelf and only one hook, that was broken. On arrival, the staff were vague about when breakfast would be served.

The cooked breakfast was excellent. The bed was comfortable. Plenty of hot water. An adjacent bus stop for the service into the town centre.

Wall paper coming off, draws open wouldn’t close. No low Mirror to get ready in. The shower was fine, just couldn’t get it right one min it was boiling hot, you had two mins between to was before noooing hot again. Stayed room 9 at top with own bathroom. Maybe just touch up walls, the holes in wall and the loft to be shut.

I thought it was good value. The pub is a nice place and good atmosphere. The room was clean, the bed was comfy.

The rooms where what you expect for the price could have been cleaner OK to get your head down after a few beers but wouldn't stay their for a romantic time away

There was nothing to like about this place. As I was walking with my daughter 2 and mother-in-law I was shouted at by local drinker drunk out his face. Shouting inappropriate comments to me and my mother in law when entering the property there was a looked like 17 year old behind the bar who couldn't even find the right keys for the room we was to be staying in.when we finally got checked in we went to our rooms where we was greated by a kitchen and hallway with the smell of oil and stairs with stains all over. The rooms was like a Sean out of a movie that not even a dog would sleep in. When we decided we wasn't staying the right we was told we couldn't have a refund and when they tried to refund the money to my mother in law who had payed on the day they took more money out her account and if not checked she would have been binned out of money. In all it took 2 drunks that apparently were management the young girl and another 2 staff that still didn't have a clue what to do. Then a manager on the phone who wanted to see details of a bank account and couldn't take her time to come in to resolve the situation there was no management on site at all. I walked away with no refund or even half a refund renewing a birthday weekend away for my partner.

Not asked for car registration so concerned about security at night. Found it noisy throughout the night, banging of beer barrels about 1 o'clock? Loud TV noise coming from another room or downstairs? 3 to 5 am. Could hear people talking in the night. Not sure if there was a night porter ?
