We wanted a simple bed and breakfast in a convenient location near the town centre for an overnight stay and Westminster Hotel provided this. Huge park opposite which was lovely to sit in in the sunshine. Beds were comfortable, breakfast was unexciting but absolutely no complaints. Parking on site was straightforward but then next day we were able to park easily on road that hotel sited on.

My main issue is with car parking. Obviously the hotel management has done its best with the space it has, the issues arise with guests inconsiderate parking by not getting in the middle of the lines making it challenging to get into the spaces.

The cooked breakfast was lovely. It was hot, plenty of choice, served in a timely manner by Sharon who was always friendly and smiley. All the other breakfast items were as expected, usual cereals, fruit juice, yoghurt and fruit all very tasty. The location is ideal for exploring Buxton, with a lovely walk through the park into the centre right on the doorstep.

The location was excellent for walking into the town, no more than about 12 minutes. The hotel looks over a lovely lake. The breakfast was excellent with plenty of choice. The room was a little disappointing as there wasn't a wardrobe for hanging clothes, although there was plenty of drawer space, There isn't a lift, we were on the third floor so it was hard work. The most important thing for us is that it was very very clean. It has its own car park which is always good. The staff were all great, efficient , helpful and kind.

There was a step down in the bathroom which in the night when half asleep could be a bit hazardous.

Manager not overly friendly. Shower hadn’t been cleaned properly, had a long hair in it. You could hear people in the next room very clearly, using the toilet, snoring, coughing etc. Parking a bit tight.

Building, room and location were great. Breakfast was delicious. Free parking on site. Lovely lake view from room 5.

Excellent location by the Pavillion Gardens. Nice and quiet and only a short stroll throgh the park to the town centre. Lovely Victorian house and an excellent breakfast choice.

Although a car park is available, spaces are a bit limited but we did arrive quite late on in the day. There is on road parking anyway.

Everything was fine during our visit, although we thought the TV in our room (5) was in the wrong place and limited power points near the bed was a minor issue.

The location was excellent, parking available on site, food and staff excellent. It's next to the pavilion gardens which are lovely to walk to, and only a short walk to the opera House.. this BnB is an excellent place to stay.vand value for money

For us, the bedding was too much and made sleeping difficult as we were too hot. We even had two windows open which meant eventually, the bed was two hot and the room became too cold. You asked. The Wi-Fi was not always available in our room, probably due to the hotel being full(ish) and our room being at the top of the hotel a distance away from the router.

Breakfast was very good, good quality ingredients and cooked well. The view over the lake was an added bonus.
