We couldn't figure out how to get the shower to work, however we should have asked but it was turned 10 at night and we felt we could cope for 24 hours, am sure it's a simple thing when you know how. Breakfast is 8-9, it's inclusive of your room price but if you're not an early riser that's that.

Location is super convenient, room spacious, comfortable and clean, we both enjoyed a really good night's sleep. The breakfast was really nice, although I only had toast and marmalade my partner had the full English.

Television could have been more modern. No freeview just mainstream channels. Small bathroom would have benefited removal of a chipped bath with a walk in shower.

Great location opposite the Pavilion park and gardens with free parking. Property is an old one but well decorated and kept clean. The room was warm despite outside temperature. Breakfast was well prepared and presented.

If you’re used to British standard this Hotel is fine. It’s a bit on the worn side. Unfortunately we’re the bed not very comfortable.

The hotels staff were terrific and they did prepare a really good English breakfast. The location is fantastic in beautiful Buxton.

Nothing to dislike the only slight negative was that our room was a little bit small for the amount of luggage we brought and there wasn't much floor space for our bags especially after we purchased souvenirs. The only other very minor point was the size of the basin in the bathroom,however, we appreciate that that this is an older hotel and this was very much part of its undoubted charm.

We enjoyed an excellent four night stay as Buxton is a lovely town perfect for exploring the Peak District National Park. We were very impressed with the Westminster Hotel especially the friendly hospitable staff, a big thank you to all especially Sharon who served us our superb freshly cooked full English breakfast each morning. The location of the hotel is fantastic situated on a wide pedestrian broadwalk overlooking the wonderful Pavilion Gardens. Our room (12) was comfortable, warm and very quiet and we enjoyed a peaceful nights sleep every night so we were fully refreshed before our days exploring.The beds were comfortable, a decent quality TV as well as a kettle with tea, coffee and daily replenished biscuits when the room was serviced.

Location was excellent a short walk into Buxton along the side of the park/lake, it was good to be able to park at the hotel, breakfast was very good. All together had a lovely stay and would stay again if in the area.

The hotel is located at the end of the pedestrianized road leading into town. Very handy for the theatre and gardens. Breakfast was great, individually cooked English breakfast. No cold meats, cheeses etc. The staff were friendly. There's on site parking.
