Very nice hotel. We like when it is small and personal. It is actually a restaurant wtih 4 bedrooms upstairs. You check in at the bar.

It seemed to be the time of year due to the students being in final exams, but the restaurant was short staffed and it took an hour to get your meal. Everyone was super nice about it; I think it was just bad time of year.

What a wonderful stay. The room was large and luxurious with a very comfortable bed, large bathroom with a heated floor and nice toiletries. Provided a hair dryer and a hair straightener. The restaurant was also very good we have both breakfast and dinner there. There is no lift (elevator) which is common in the UK - this was the only place we stayed that the staff jumped up to help us carry our bags upstairs! Short walk to anywhere in St. Andrews

Excellent location in St Andrews, close to places I wanted to visit, but still a cozy quaint hotel. Very friendly staff answered our questions and made us feel at home. Excellent cooked to order breakfast each morning.

we had an issue with the toilet in our room. when we let someone know they told us that they thought it was fixed.

Heated tiles in the bathroom were a bit too hot. Trivia night was pretty loud on downstairs and was hard to relax while in the room.

Located is in the heart of the town and really nice decor and great cocktails! Breakfast was great too! Staff were so friendly. Enjoyed our stay.

The central location means noise from the street is unavoidable - this is true of all hotel rooms that face onto the main streets - it is a pay-off for a great location, good value hotel - and not a deal breaker I'd say.

If I’m being picky would be good to have more egg free choices on the breakfast menu, last time I stayed there were pancakes on the menu.

Room was perfect, modern, clean and spacious! Woman with blonde hair (green and black dress, didn’t catch her name!) was so lovely from the minute we arrived, couldn’t have been more welcoming and helpful, me and sister both mentioned to each other how lovely she was, all staff were lovely but special mention to her. (Wish I caught her name!!) Breakfast was amazing and included in the price which was a bonus.

Previous guest had clearly been sick in the room carpet badly stained and room smelt of vomit. would have been really hard to miss.

When I walked by one area of the room, the mirror on the wall would shake and I assume the people in the room next door could hear it hitting agains the wall. (I stayed in room #4)

Location was perfect , everything literally at your doorstep. Staff were amongst the best I’ve ever come across , so welcoming and friendly. The manager Jackie was lovely and super attentive . Breakfast was outstanding. Fantastic place to stay, oh and cocktails are superb
