The only down side after a busy day is the 3 flights of stairs .

Perfect location.. short stroll into town. Lovely quiet apartment . Great for those who love a very soft bed.

Perhaps a little more information on how to work central heating. As people who don't have a clue how to work gas, we tried but, couldn't work out how to make the radiators stay on so a little cold at times.

Spotlessly clean. Kitchen well stocked with everything you could need. Even had egg cups which is rare! Personal touch with flowers and wine and milk in the fridge. Excellent location to city centre, cathedral, shops and supermarket especially. Bus station within easy reach. Up

a little tired, in shower, lighting, stripped bed found marks on pillows, matress protectors, needed cleaning, tired bleach marked towels that had seen better days and very out of date info going back to 2017 need hooks, broken crockery throwing, better up to date info on buses, how to use tv, heating needed better timing and info, we got left out of date, curdled milk and wine bottle had been opened so we left wine and threw milk

The location was very good: close to city centre, bus station and supermarket.

It is on the third floor (not steep steps) but if you have mobility issues it could be a problem.

Location was perfect, just a short walk into Wells. And the apartment was bright, spacious and well equipped with parking on site.

There are 3 flights of stairs to get to the apartment. Not a problem for us and understood at the time of booking, but it would not be suitable for anyone with problems going upstairs. We tried to extend our stay. Fully understood that it was not possible, but Sykes could have handled the call better. A separate request, sent at time of booking, was not acknowledged or acted on.

Location was perfect for our needs. Easy to find & good car parking (appears to be rare in Wells!). Rooms were clean. The 'welcome' gifts of flowers, milk and wine were a nice touch and enjoyed. Considering the location, it was quieter than expected.

Arrived and the flat hadn't been cleaned. However after speaking to the owner he arranged for cleaner to come and change beds etc. Considering that we are still in Covid times there was quite a lot of dust around, on skirting boards and under beds.

Spacious and comfortable apartment a few minutes walk to amenities.

Had to clean both bathroom sinks, there were dried toothpaste tracks in both, the kitchen sink was also dirty. All cups, glasses and cutlery had to be washed before use as they were far from clean. The bed in the main bedroom was comfortable but was 2 single beds pushed together with a king-size duvet over the top, this was disappointing.

Lovely light, airy apartment, well furnished and plenty of space. Very close to a supermarket and central to the locations we were visiting. Wouldn't know you were on the fourth floor, no noise from any other apartment.

The central location meant we could walk into town, the views were lovely and despite being in a city it was peaceful. Free parking was a bonus and Stuart kindly provided milk, a bottle of wine and a vase of flowers. Would highly recommend and will certainly return.

Nothing can be done about it but the stairs are a bit hard after a certain age. Really there was absolutely nothing wrong with it

Excellent location, the fact there were two bathrooms, very well equipped kitchen. Parking for two cars was good as we came from Winchester and my brother came from Devon. This was our second visit to this apartment, last one 5 years ago, and it is still very clean and tidy.

Although the bed was very comfortable, it would have been better to have a proper double bed, rather than two single beds pushed together with a king size duvet over the top. This would also allow more space for a dressing table or chest of drawers, since there were no surfaces in the bedroom to put anything on.

This is a comfortable, spacious apartment, within a short walk of the city centre and cathedral. The sitting room/diner is comfortably furnished, light and airy, with good views across The Mendips. The kitchen is also well equipped with plenty of worktop space. If I was coming to Wells again I would definitely stay here.
