Superb meeting of historic old property with modern convenience in interior style and facilities. Love location outside town hustle while close for great walk down through quay. Sound of birdsong and running water outside property very restful. Easy access to coastal walking and shore.

There wasn't anything we didn't like!

Check in/ out couldn't have been easier. Key box next to the door and a message a few days before our arrival with the code. The property exceeded our expectations and was perfect for us and secure for the dog. The location is amazing and the views are outstanding - be sure to follow the steps, just outside the gate on the right - head up and see a further seating area! We will 100% be coming back!

Struggle with wood burner however I reach out for help, they message me with advice. Still same trouble with wood burner. It did not stop us enjoyed our time and staying at lovely home and grateful for heating floor!

The Well House is a fabulous little place that contains everything you need for a weekend stay. The under floor heating kept it at a cosy temperature. The bed was comfy, the shower great and we especially liked the boiling water tap. Great location.

Loved every thing about my stay at The Well House. Comfortable, quiet and clean. A quirky little property with stylish decor, a little courtyard with a stream with goldfish! Plus parking right next to property. Plus a treat left for my dog and for me on arrival. A great touch. Thank you

Everything about the property was great, but be mindful the road outside can be slippery on foot when wet.

I recently stayed at the Well House it exceeded my expectations. The place was impeccably clean, creating a comfortable and welcoming environment. Situated in a charming location, it offered convenience without sacrificing tranquility. Overall, it was a delightful experience and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a pleasant stay.

Beautiful little hideaway within walking distance of Ilfracombe. It is cosy, warming & quirky. Love the little garden with the water, fish & frogs. Lovely to hear the owl as well. The accomodation has everything you need, it's very warm, cosy, clean and comfortable. The hot cross buns, milk, tea & coffee were a lovely touch. We had a lovely few days. It's within walking distance of restaurants, shops and the coastal path. The little estate itself is pretty & great to be able to park right next to the house. Would highly recommend. Thank you!

It was difficult to warm the house up the first night - one of the coldest nights of the year - we couldn't work out the heating. The second night it was lovely and warm as we kept the burner going for longer. It could do with a warning sticker on the hot sink tap as I burnt my finger when we first arrived, not realising it was a boiling water tap - I read it in the manual afterwards.

Great location, lovely clean house which is well looked after. The little garden with waterfall would be lovely to sit in when it's warmer. Well equipped (lovely thick towels) and great location for walking to the harbour and town. 5 min walk to good traditional pub. Friendly host and helpful.

The standard of design inside property is fantastic, perfectly contained small space which respects the buildings history, while also providing a light airy living with everything you need. The attention to quality fixtures, furniture and utensils makes this a completely relaxing pleasure. Just what is needed to have energy for exploring coastal areas, couldn’t be happier. The well house is a beautiful place for a weekend stay or maybe even a little longer. Within walking distance to the harbour town and the sea. Literally 2 minutes from the Well House is a beautiful Thatch roof pub which is a great spot. Overall a lovely stay and I would easily look to stay again if visiting the area.
