Bit remote choice of food not expansive enough

We found the staff a little inexperienced perhaps because they were so young. We felt we had to take the lead in sorting things out . It wasn’t a problem because we were rather laid back and intend on having a great trip.I remember how I was in my first job 😊

We loved our room , the view,the garden, the food, the decor.The following day we moved to seamill hydro and my goodness your room outshone theirs. I did enjoy my stay with you guys very much. Thank you

It was a very sunny day so garden was busy but we found it quite difficult to order a drink. Staff behind bar were excellent and seemed to be coping well with how busy it was but servers seemed a bit inexperienced and lacking in training.

Hotel is in a great location and has a lovely chilled feel to it. Rooms were very spacious and clean. Breakfast and dinner were very good.

Bar service was very poor, had to chase order twice, some drinks didn’t arrive but we were charged for them, very disappointing

Some of the decor within the room needs to be updated, the headboard of the bed had a dirty mark on it as well as marks on the ceiling as well as marks on the bedside lamps and the plug for the bath wasn't attached to the chain. The bed was a bit hard for me however just personal preference.

The staff were lovely, the view was absolutely amazing, and the room was spacious and clean (apart from a few minor things). The room itself was warm due to hot weather however the hotel provided a fan which was also great.

Location was beautiful, staff were so friendly and helpful, relaxing stay. Dinner was very good and great value. Great bar also. Bedroom was decorated well, comfortable bed, great bathroom. Will hopefully have a chance to return.

Could not find fault with our sea side room. The rooms on the road side could be quite noisy for light sleepers.

The hotel is clean and bright. The hotel was booked as it was close to the Arran ferry. Due to Ferry disruption, our plans had to be changed, entailing an extra nights stay, when the original plan was again made possible the hotel was helpful and flexible. They allowed us to cancel the now unwanted extra night, the staff were very helpful and understanding. The room was clean, modern and the bathroom was very well decorated and clean. The view of the sea was great and the room on the beach side was very quiet and relaxing. The restaurant was very clean and the food good. Breakfast was also very good. All staff were friendly, professional and helpful. A great stay and would highly recommend if using the Ardrossan ferry, 5 mins drive. It was also very convenient for the replacement Troon Ferry allow 30 mins for the drive. Good hotel car parking.

The fact that you had did not have a designated park close by. You had to try and find a park in amongst other visitors who were at the restaurant. Very awkward with luggage and rain.

Came down at 21.30 for a drink at bar and possibly a snack as we had ate early and kitchen was shut. No bar snacks available. Bar was also shutting and we were told we could only get another drink at discretion of night porter. We didn't test this out as we didn't ask for another one and instead headed back to our room. It was a Wednesday night so maybe different at weekend. We would still return ....just remember to bring our own snacks next time

Loved the location and the view from the room . Rooms were lovely too . Food in restaurant was excellent and staff were great. There was also great choice for breakfast in the morning
