Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United KingdomHair found in coffee cups, Air con was marked with a big X across it and turned off at mains, assumed broken, lamps not working, noise from street below into very early hours 3/4am from late night revellers. Lift to floors not secure as reception on top floor so anyone could walk in during day.
Central location, price, rainfall showers, cosy big bed, big tv, discounted parking, good communication up to arrival.

United KingdomA little bit pricey for what it was, however that's only because I have an eye for bargains.
Very nice room! Beautiful reception too, though a little odd that it is on the 3rd floor of building, above the rooms. Great location.

United KingdomThe noise from outside the room. The air conditioning was on when I got to the room, and had leaked all over the bed, called to reception and they came to change the bed, the bedding was wet through to the mattress and pillow, no other room was offered, the last who came to change the bedding was lovely. But a wet bed does not equal a good night's sleep .
The location was brilliant, easy to get to and parking was reasonable near by

United KingdomUnfortunately as I was on the first floor at the front of the building I was kept up by the drunk people outside until around 4am. This was also midweek on a Wednesday.
Very clean and spacious. Had everything you need for a short stay. Very central location.

United KingdomNo privacy. Very loud . Can hear everything what happens in other rooms and balcony’s . If you want romantic get away or peace, than this is not place for you. Room was very small and bed was very small. I think you just pay for the balcony . Rest of that is not worth it. Kettle was dirty and the glassware, from toilet came some kind of smell. Very dusty.
Great location and view from balcony

United KingdomWhilst the room wasn't so unclean I felt I couldn't stay there, I didn't feel it had been cleaned to the standard I would expect.. for example there were crumbs and clumps of dust in the drawers, dust around fixtures and fitting which obviously hadn't been cleaned in a while. The bathroom and bedding was clean so I still felt fine staying in the room. If you get a room at the front of the building it is very loud until about 3am as there is a club just down the road. I did knew this before staying so expected the noise but if this is something which would bother you, request a room at the back.
The staff were friendly and welcoming. The location is good from the perspective that you can walk into town and to bars and restaurants easily. The parking at high cross was also convenient.

United KingdomTo get to the 10/10, some areas were lacking in decoration. E.g. some of the carpets could do with being replaced, the lift could be a little nicer etc.. just little bits that could make it extra special when focussed on.
Great location, lovely staff. The rooms are stunning, great views and facilities. Cleanliness was exceptional. We stayed for my graduation and it helped to make it an extra special day 😃

United KingdomThe noise outside (Close to 2 pubs). Even with the doors and windows shut the noise from drunk groups, leaving the pubs kept us awake.
Staff were helpful when there was a decrepency on the room booked. It was sorted with no fuss.

United KingdomDifficult to find, the outer door is small and you take a lift to 3rd floor for the reception. I had to ask a shop keeper directions to find it. I wasn't told of any other way to access or leave if the lift stopped working. The picture on booking.com didn't reflect the actual hotel facade.
Good location for where I needed to be. Clean comfortable and nice staff.

United KingdomThe layout was a bit weird with the reception located on the top floor. Also though the room was great, some of the amenities didn't work properly like the phone and the aircon
The room was very spacious and clean. The bed was also very large with a good view of the square, with several pubs, restaurants, fast food places and the cinema all within 5 mins of the hotel.

United KingdomSmall door entrance with a drunk man sat at it. Walked past it first time. Described as 4 star - nowhere near it. 1 young member of staff in quite a vulnerable position as door open between 7am and 10pm. No staff between 5am and 7am. Damp in the bathroom, room looked into back yard with noisy fans. Very dated furnishings- furry bedside cabinets. Supposed to be executive room ??? Shower did not drain well.
The location was great, nice young girl on the reception , room was a good size. Had a humongously large tv.. Clean
