Breakfast was very basic. You could get better at the premier Inn budget hotel. Its a buffet style with not a lot of options. On the 2nd day I stayed, we had to wait ages for food to be restocked ot was a joke not good service in the dining area. I've stayed at many hotels from budget to grand expensive hotels, and this was the lowest breakfast of them all worse than budget hotel for options and food was cold on the first day. Big let down to our stay for my wife, who is a vegan, and me a meat eater.

Spa facilities were amazing, and the bed was so comfortable, very modern, immaculately clean hotel with excellent facilities. Reception staff amazing very helpful and friendly

There was a bit of noise one morning during the turn over of other rooms nearby.

The schedule for the kids to use the pool was inconvenient. My daughter is 15.5, she was not allowed to the pool after 7.30pm or before 10am. We stayed in the hotel, because she was attending a dance competition. We were not in during the day, so my daughter could not use the pool. Maybe the age restriction could get a bit down. Also, when in the evening I went my self to the pool and used sauna facilities, it was very noisy. There was a group of people, perhaps members of the golf club, I believe, they knew each other and it felt like they own the place. They were keep taking in sauna and surrounding areas even though the sign says: consider others are coming to have a quiet time.

Restaurant - Could have been better menu options. Also basic condiments with the meal were not available. Breakfast - time period was very limiting as finished at 9.30am and for a break made for pressure to get moving early in the morning.

Excellent location close to main motorways and town. Also great hotel parking facilities

That the hours to the spa were restricted for hotel guests.

Pool full of children most unsupervised. Bathroom freezing cold couldn’t get heated towel rail on to warm it up a bit. Radiator in breakfast room has flaking paint all over it. Drinks £17 for pint of larger and small wine

Had a problem with my room key not working, had to have it reset at the front desk several times (it wasn't next to my mobile phone).

Location is great, facilities are great, food was good. Overall a good experience and will be back to play the golf course when not waterlogged :-(

Would like a safe in the room. And not to be asked to pay for a towel for the spa. I think they didn’t in the end charge me, but I was surprised to be told there was a fee for a hotel guest. I was told to use one from the room but the room was not exactly overflowing with spare towels. I realise there are in theory enviro reasons for this sort of policy but it always feels off if charged to use a facility in effect or for something you think should be included as part of that. If it is designed to prevent theft I don’t see that a £2 fee is going to deter someone.

Location good. Breakfast fine. Pool nice. Bars are good.

The bar area. The some staff did not know what they were doing. The wine was poor too.

It is the second time I have stayed at the Tytherington. The first time I had breakfast on one morning it was very disappointing - both staff and food. This time I brought my own in.
