Nothing to dislike.

Small, comfortable, very friendly and helpful staff, excellent restaurant, succeeds in being a cut above. Four 7kw ev chargers are located in the public car park just behind the hotel. No trouble in getting one of the hotels six “first come” parking spaces. Excellent two day stay.

Poor internet

It was very clean, well maintained and comfortable. The staff were friendly and there was private parking available. The breakfast was very good and refreshment and cakes were available all day. The downside for me was that the wifi was very poor. I was given the guests log in details and that connected occasionally and randomly. On my second night I went down to the bar to see if that was better and a very professional young staff member gave me a more ‘secure’ link which worked a treat while I was in the bar but as soon as I returned to my room (Dulas) it vanished. This was frustrating as I needed to check routes and other sites. Unfortunately, It would put me off staying there again.

The only thing missing was a desk in the room for me to work on and a harder pillow but certainly nothing that I couldn't cope with.

Everything about the place is great. The staff where all friendly, professional and welcoming. The room was in excellent condition whilst also being very clean and comfortable. I wasn't expecting the food to be as good as it was - and I thought it would be good. Overall, very impressed and will definitely be back again.

We were a little surprised to discover the bar wasn't open on the Saturday - but there are alternatives in the town. Other than that, it would be very hard to fault any aspect of the service or of the hotel itself.

The food is excellent. Unfortunately we only had lunch and breakfast, not dinner. What we did have was very well prepared and tasty. Lunch portions were very large (too large for us) especially considering the price. Special mention must go to the cheesecake, which was a delight. Also, a selection of Welsh wines, along with others, was a pleasant surprise. Will definitely be going back for dinner. Staff are exceptionally helpful, particularly in the restaurant, and the room condition was like in a brand new show home. Shower was a revelation.

Literally the best breakfast I’ve ever had! I had the veggie breakfast option and it really was superb. The chef even found me some chilli mustard to round it off. All the staff were friendly and kind. I can’t wait to come back.

Wi-Fi did not work. Breakfast was too late and no alternative offered. No plug point by mirror so hair dryer did not reach a point where I could see what I was doing.

Breakfast was 8.30 so no good for me as that’s too late so did not have it. No option for an earlier breakfast. Some places offer take-away breakfast items is guest starts early. So charged for breakfast as it was included but had nothing. Wi-Fi did not work. No idea why.

The breakfast was very good. Quality food and special attention to my husbands diet as he is a coeliac. There were gluten free biscuits in the room which is unknown. All in all we were well looked after.
