We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.

I had to be up very early each day so it was particularly good to be able to have breakfast whenever it was needed!

United KingdomI had a comfortable stay during a weekend visit for a work-related course. I was warmly welcomed to the property and shown around. It felt very homey, with very clean shared spaces. Generous amount of food provided in the kitchen (cheese and hams in fridge as well as baked goods/breads/cereals/fruit). Large Tesco a few minute walk across the road from the property. I liked the small touch of leaving a twix with the tea and coffee set in the room each morning! If you are sensitive to sound (like me!), just to mention you are able to hear people walking around easily/being loud on the phone. Also, the room I stayed in (ground floor, by the front door and main road) meant noise was more noticeable but it didn't negatively affect my stay. Would recommend!

United KingdomNot a complaint as such, as the problem was fixed very promptly. The bi-fold door on our ensuite had come off its runners, a joiner was coming to replace it the day after our arrival, but for one night we had no door on the toilet etc. The 42 steps from kitchen to our room on the top floor was a challenge, we just made sure we didn't have to go up and down too many times!
Tracey, the owner was there to meet us, and gave us a guided tour of our room, and facilities, she was very welcoming, and allowed us, and her other guests free reign to come/go, and get our own breakfast (copious amounts of choice from Continental/Buffet style). Bonus points having Tesco Superstore car park outside the back door, which meant being able to choose food from there, and cook in the kitchen (as long as it can be done in a microwave). Her regular guests spoke very highly of Tracey, good recommendation. Would definitely stay again.

Plenty of options for continental breakfast, self-prepared. Exceptionally clean throughout, nice shared bathroom with good shower.
