Nothing except due to us arriving on a Tuesday the pub wasn’t open so didn’t get to sample the lovely food.

Loved how individual all the rooms were, the extra touches made it warm and inviting. Super comfy beds, coffee machine and water available in your room.

Nothing to dislike however the tv was a little challenging trying to get live BBC and ITV channels.

The Staff and pub itself were brilliant, food was exceptional and did not disappoint !

In the mornings, it was quite hard trying to track down a member of staff to ask a question.

Lovely location, beautifully decorated room, great tea/coffee facilities (loved the little fridge with fresh milk as I hate UHT!), clean and fresh bathroom with plenty of towels. We arrived late after our wedding just after midnight - the staff had very kindly given me the front door fob and given me directions to the room so we could go straight in. The staff had sweetly left the lights on with the radio playing which was a lovely welcome after a long day! The breakfast on our first morning was delicious and reasonably priced too. Sadly, as the pub is closed on Mondays, we were unable to have breakfast there but the checkout procedure was very easy and simple with clear instructions provided well in advance of our stay.

Breakfast service was very slow on the one day... not normally a problem but as we had to get to an event it was a little stressful.

Rooms were absolutely lovely, very nice tasteful decoration, full of nice little touches and were absolutely spotless. The food at hotel was delicious with really nice vegetarian/vegan options.

The Three Hills is a very special place. Our bedrooms were so stylishly and beautifully presented and very comfortable too. The staff were very welcoming and highly professional. The pub itself was also a gorgeous space to have drinks and dinner. The dinner and breakfast were both exceptional - locally sourced produce that was brilliantly cooked and presented and delicious. It is excellent value for money. I want to live there!

As someone who is 6’ 2”, I found the single bed slightly on the short side. Perhaps some instructions on how to turn down the towel rail as the room felt quite warm… google assured me I was on the right track. Perhaps a slightly larger array of continental breakfast options could be offered although the cooked breakfast was wonderful. But the positives far out-weighed the negatives and I hope to return soon - thank you.

Very tastefully decorated - both the room and the pub dining area. Great care had been taken to ensure the the room was spotlessly clean, heating turned up and gentle radio music playing on arrival. A great rural location with very easy access. Check-in was very easy and had all the appliances one needed. Very tasty breakfast and the staff were friendly and welcoming - thank you.

Not one thing.

After watching a C4 program on The Three Hills i decided to book a naughty night away with my wife.on entering the Hotel/Restaurant we where greeted with open arms as if we where regulars. The bar is well shocked and a tab was open within minutes, after a few we decided to go to our room before dinner,the room was bright and had everything needed,a lovely touch the radio was on. After freshen up we went for dinner table booked for 7. We were greeted and taken to our table by the lovely Ellie, menu amazing i did think anout trying pigeon but wasn't brave enough lol. I had the Sausages and my wife the Burger all food is locally sourced with is a great touch. Food was quick and tasty and the service out of the world.Ellie we wish you all the luck on your travels, or i hope Emma has locked you in the cellar like i suggested 😀. Bed time..The bed very comfortable and a great night sleep was enjoyed..Breakfast was again amazing with the wife having the full English and me Eggs and Bacon..All in all it was a perfect night away..Thank you all at The Three Hills.

That we couldn’t stay longer!

Very welcoming and friendly staff and locals (in particular Alex and also the chef who gave our dog extra treats!) Beautiful cosy little pub with amazing food, rooms were lovely too, and even included a dog bed, bowls and treats. Us and our dog felt extremely well looked after, would 100% recommend and are looking to come back!

Great village pub, modernised but with care taken around original features and furnishings. Bed was extremely comfortable and linen was great quality. Thoughtful touches around coffee machine and bottled water. Quiet location, easy to find and access.

A few more mugs in the kitchen please :) and a bigger kettle. The bath plug leaked so couldn’t bath, but told staff when we left.

Loved the apartment, loved the cleanliness. The staff were absolutely wonderful. We have a young son with coeliac and the chef was so accommodating and kind.

The only 1 minor , and very minor issue at that, was the room was a bit small. That is not the fault of anyone in particular, it is an old building as many pubs are.

Very nicely decorated, and very clean throughout, he food was excellent both for dinner and breakfast, and the staff were superb. It is no surprise this is an award winning place.

Thank you for hosting our Christmas party last night - we all had a great time. Great ambiance, good value for money and fantastic food. Everyone was so friendly, flexible as colleagues were delayed, loved the snug room and finally the chef coming out to say hello.

Surprised by the amount of traffic going passed although it didn't keep us awake .

Lovely room which was nice and warm considering the outside temp. Dinner was very good although the sirloin didn't justify the price.

Nothing we didn’t like. It’s worth noting that the pub isn’t open on Mondays and Tuesdays so plan to eat elsewhere if you book on those days.

The location is great and the room was really cosy and comfortable. The property is dog-friendly which is essential for us and the dog towel, bed, bowls and treats are a really nice touch.

Couple of minor points - TV controls very confusing and although bedroom windows were double glazed they did not seal properly so there was some noise from the car park.

Room was very nicely decorated and good facilities including great toiletries. The bar and restaurant were very good and the staff were super friendly and helpful. Delicious seafood for dinner. Rural and quiet location but great for a stopover.
