We had a bath within the room plus a wash hand basin. The shower was in the bath with no curtain so extremely difficult to use with spraying water everywhere. The toilet was separate but behind a really in adequate sliding door. Not offering any real privacy. The room was large but no wardrobe just hangers on wall and two large chest of drawers/cupboards which had been painted and then distressed - not my particular taste - but the drawers and doors were really difficult to open. All design and no practical use. Also plug socket for hairdryer nowhere near the mirror so not easy to dry your hair.

The food is very good with lovely outdoor seating area. The staff were very good and helpful. Our room was large and airy with a cooling fan - as the weather was very hot - and a large comfortable bed. Excellent breakfast although cooked breakfast had an extra charge which we thought was a bit cheeky.

A fabulous experience despite it being Fathers Day & therefore extremely busy. The team managed it well. Food was great, garden amazing & location superb. The bed & linen exceptional & attention to detail evident at all levels. Continental breakfast option fresh & ample.

There is no doubt the Jewel in this Crown is most definitely the Staff Stow on wold and Bourton on the Water were 15mins away.All areas exceptionally clean inside and out.

We had room 7 the garden room, which was very pretty but unfortunately we had a group of very loud ladies in room 8 ,which had a connecting door with no soundproofing, who didn’t drop until 1 am !!

The staff were so friendly and helpful. The food was amazing especially the Sunday roast. Lovely clean and comfortable room.

Was slightly disappointed by the food options for dinner was expecting more considering location and local produce etc. Felt it was slightly overpriced for the stay considering it was only a continental breakfast included.

Location was perfect and had a lovely room especially the bathtub in the room.

Excellent. We booked almost all the rooms for a weekend with the girls and the hotel was perfect. Had two great meals (one in the private room which is lovely) and the other in the main bar enjoying pizza. The hotel even catered for our GF needs. Breakfast excellent too.

Lacking in parking spaces but I did manage to get one, but I woudlnt hold that against it, there is parking on the road.

Rooms where well decorated clean and cosy, also comfortable with plenty of toitletries, tea and coffee. Staff were friendly and helpful, and go out of there way to help you. Food was excellent and the location is exceptional.

There was mothing we disliked.

The staff were very welcoming and friendly. The location was beautiful, it was a shame we didn't have more time to explore the area further but hopefully we will be back again. The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom facilities were good. The plug on the basin needs the chain attached again as it made it almost impossible to remove it!

Room 4 is very hot as it is above the kitchen but if you open the widnow you are just above the extractor fan, so it's either too noisy or too hot.

The locations, the atmosphere, the food was top class, the family suite was the best I’ve ever stayed in especially with a dog. Spotless accommodation.
