We were warned it can be noisy and having stayed before albeit room back of hotel wasnt too bad but this time we were given room at front literally over the bar..was extremely noisy.. but then at 6.15 am Sunday morning they had dray lorry delivery🙈so it was extremely disturbed sleep..wil remember ask for room at back of hotel if /wen stay again....oh might need new bed room 2..it was on a slant so little sleep we had our feet were up in air..lol..woudl it put us off staying again?.....no ..value for money brekkie included ...

It's not a criticism as it seems like an old building, but it had a lot of condensation on the window in the room. Unless you request lower room access, it might be restricted if you have disabilities. No lift as an old building, quite steep steps.

The venue was in an excellent location. Nice bar area. The staff we had spoken to were friendly. The room we stayed in was comfortable. It had a nice design with iron and wood. The bed was comfy and warm. We did not eat at the venue, so we can not comment on the food. Great stay for overnight or if exploring the nearby area.

We were aware this is a late night venue. The music finished at 2am but revellers were still making a lot of noise outside till after 3:30am. Beds could be more comfortable and there was only one pillow each Check in was late but understandable as this was the Dickerson Christmas and the pub was very busy.

Very good value for money, large room, lovely breakfast and excellent location. Staff were very friendly.

No wifi instructions, used my 4g instead. Damp smell in room, stinky bathroom but all good for the price. Current updating taking place so should improve in the future. Noisy doors and floors but it is an old building so to be expected. Very bright and noisy outside, but this was fully explained so not a surprise and is reflected in the price.

Spacious room, lovely and helpful staff. Good location, good value for money. Budget price, budget accomodation. Perfectly good for the money. Nice small town central feeling if you like the pub and nightlife, food etc.

It didn’t bother us and you are made well aware before booking,but if you are after a quiet stay the Sun inn is not for you as it is in the heart of ulverston’s nightlife

I know it's on a main rd, but hearing groups of drunken men until 1 clock in the morning wasn't good. Maybe invest in double glazed windows. There was a single.blind on the window which wasn't very good. Even after midnight, the room was full of light. Maybe long, thick blackout curtains would be a good asset

The room was clean and comfortable, had all the basics, exactly what we needed for 1 night. All staff were polite and friendly. We ate dinner there and it was very nice, good portion size, reasonably priced and tasty.
