Wonderful hosts, and a beautiful peaceful setting. We stayed in the suite with garden view which was gorgeous. The hot tub jacuzzi hire for the evening, set in a seculded part of the garden was romantic and relaxing. Breakfast was lovely. We would love to visit again.

The property was clean throughout, with pastries brought every morning & a fridge which was always stocked.James went above & beyond, ensuring our stay was made extra special, down to every last detail.

No complaints at all.

Breakfast was exceptional and always provided more that could eat. Had an early morning start when leaving, 0500, with breakfast was being provided ready the night before so could leave on a full stomach. I believe this is the third stay now and normally when away always want to try somewhere new. Hosts are fantastic, always felt looked after and nothing is too much trouble.

Exceptional attention to detail , immaculate property with a great history, luxurious, comfortable, location, style and space , warm welcome from the hosts. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful, and the access to the communal kitchen was a welcome addition. Over the years we have stayed in many individual properties in the UK and abroad and this has to be up there with the very best …. Thank you James and Beverley for such a warm welcome.

Oohhh...absolutely nothing!

Wow! What an amazing place to stay. In the country and in peaceful surroundings. Fabulously comfortable bed, good room size and natural light, very nice bathroom. Quality everything from linen to in-room facilities. Fresh fruit, tea, coffee, biscuits, cereal and yoghurt..plus a further delicious breakfast served to the room at a time of our choosing. We had easy access to a shared modern kitchen had we wanted to self cater. The professional and discreet attention to detail by Beverley and James is probably the best we have ever experienced.

Nothing! We love it there.

Everything. Beverley & James are there to welcome you in and are always a phone call or message away. This is our third time staying here and on each stay we are always showed around the room and asked what time we would like breakfast. The room/ bathroom is always clean and the fridge/ counter too is stocked with everything we need. This time round I had forgotten to mention my Oat milk request & Beverley had kindly referred to her previous notes and stocked up for me on arrival. We plan on staying again and making use of the hot tub facilities as on the three stays it’s been for weddings. We’ve recommend them to all our friends and if you are attending a wedding we can’t recommend Pete at C&L cars enough!

This property ticked every conceivable box. Excellent super king bed with quality bedding, lovely hot rain shower and furnished expertly to an unparalleled standard. Virtually impossible to find a b&b that will match this standard. One definitely not to be missed

There is nothing not to like!

The accommodation is spotless, so comfortable spacious and airy. The location is peaceful with walks on the doorstep and many lovely places to visit within easy reach by car. We stayed in the gable ended room and the views are so relaxing. We enjoyed a perfect breakfast of warm pastries, toast, yoghurt, and cereal. Warm pastries bought to our room at the time we requested. A bowl of fruit was also a lovely touch. Tea and coffee making facilities in the room, with fresh milk in fridge with water and fresh orange juice. Dressing gowns, slippers, lovely bathroom toiletries, individually wrapped eye masks provided, good hairdryer and lovely quiet fan provided; truly a 5* experience! Can not recommend a stay at the Pannels enough, so glad we have found this special place. Beverly and James are such lovely people who are exceptional hosts. We will be back for another stay. Thank you for a lovely break.

The fact we had to leave 😪

We received a very warm welcome from James and Beverley, along with George, their chocolate lab. The suites are furnished to a very high standard. Very clean and comfortable. Plenty of tea coffee. We were made to feel at home straight away. Nothing was too much trouble. Great communication to make your stay literally perfect. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful. Perfect get away location. We hired the hot tub and relaxing in such a beautiful setting was amazing. We can not wait to return. Thank you so much James Beverley and of course George

Nothing to be honest

Such a great find - the whole set up was great: big comfy bed, lovely shower, smart telly, nice toiletries and thoughtful attention to detail throughout. Breakfast was so cute. There was cereal, yoghurts, tea, coffee, orange juice, milk, jam, butter in the room and then the hosts brought fresh pastries and toast in the morning and we could have breakfast sat on the patio in the sun. Really peaceful location and lovely building.

Liked it all .The continental breakfast was lovely, however a choice of a cooked breakfast would have made it even better.

Beautiful surroundings. Sympathetic conversion of barns to living area. Clean and not cluttered at all. There was fresh coffee to make in a cafetiere which was a plus for me. The range of toiletries was good quality and the shower powerful. The host, Bev, was friendly and explained all without being overbearing and a nuisance, just the right amount of courtesy!
