What a gem this place is - perfect for a family visiting the area but also wanting to switch off and drink in some nature at a slower pace. The place itself is lovely, well-appointed (TV with services, games, dishwasher etc) and comfortable, with great beds and shower - and stocked with breakfast goodies. And uninterrupted views of green fields and trees. Outside was heaven for a small explorer - trampoline, bikes to ride, trees to climb. And all of this was minutes away from some of the best family attractions around - the Winchester Science Centre, Marwell Zoo, pony riding sessions and proper pubs. Oh and communication with Shannon was perfect - there when you need anything and very considerate. Bliss.

Delightful property, warm, comfortable, lovely owner Shannon and the most exceptional shower. After a cold, muddy walk on the South Downs Way, I had a comfy, relaxing evening in the Woodshed. Thank you for the bread, eggs, fruit and lifts Shannon, you’re a top notch host.

Shannon was a great host, nothing was too much trouble. Easy to contact and able to help with enquiries. We arrived later than planned in the dark and Shannon had made the sofa bed up for us, key in the door and light on! So lovely to have breakfast items waiting for us- the home bread was delicious. Facilities were well thought out and attention to detail was amazing. Lovely tranquil location

Wifi was a little slow at times, but to be expected based on its rural location.

This was the best accommodation of its type that I have ever stayed in. The attention to detail was so high, with so many lovely extra touches including food and drink in the fridge, lots of which was local. The rooms were so well presented with lovely linen and covers. Lovely and clean as well. The owner who met us was so friendly and helpful.

Shannon is a fantastic host who kindly picked us up from the South Downs Way trail and even dropped us off in the village for supper. For this reason, don't be put off if you're on foot. The Studio is large, tastefully furnished and decorated, and was spotless. The kitchen is very well equipped. It's good value. The location is very special, particularly if you're looking to get away from it all.

The beds and pillows were a little uncomfortable (too soft for our liking) but I suppose more a matter of personal taste.

It was wonderful. So quiet and peaceful. We arrived to lovely pain au chocolate, fresh homemade bread and jam and eggs and milk. Lots of other supplies in the cupboard. The accommodation was spacious and clean with beautiful views.
