Only thing I could say about improving is I would of like a iron in the room. But that wasn't really a negative on the stay.

Overall this was a good find. It was exactly what I was expecting no more and no less. Good price. Would stay again.

Bathrooms are never properly cleaned, but dont expect anything special for the price

Central and useful location - Price is unbeatable, especially if youre booking a family room as its the same price as a single room- New carpets are brilliant too, proper changed the look of the room!

The fact that they take a £50 deposit from you on arrival in case you cause any damage why would they need to do that when they have your card details when you book .and no tea making facilities in the room

No solo entrance into the inn section. Had to go through the loud, busy pub area. And the door to the inn and the pub area is very accessible to the public. Didn’t feel safe with this.

Breakfast was served from 08.00 but I needed to be in work by that time hence making the journey the night before.

Dont like how you have to go through the bar to get to reception as after a long travel i dont want to be met with a rowdy crowd but thats personal preference. The rooms are never clean throughly, very basic cleans and bed changes are done, other then that stained carpets, cobwebs, hairs in the bathrooms and marks on walls etc. Don't like how theres no discounted rate for longer stays, as ive booked elsewhere numerous times when I stay for long spats, as 50/60 quid a night is good for a couple nights, but i can get 10 nights for 300/400 quid elsewhere in comparison to their 500/600 quid.

The location is why i book the station inn on a regular basis, close to everything I need it to be and also has a car park thats free of charge. Price is decent dependent on the rate theyre offering at the time, set cost regardless of the size of room, so better value for the bigger groups.

Mattress was terrible, very uncomfortable you could feel every spring (but have to admit we have had worse/spose it was only for 2 nights)

Nice environment, very friendly staff, basic food menu & fairly priced (what more could you ask for) as was the drinks at the bar. Unfortunately no breakfast available because of the time of year (not the end of the world). Rooms were big enough for the 2 of us. Good location plenty of shops & takeaways around, train station 2 minute walk & only 7 mins on train to the city centre.

Customers of the pub arguing with each and staff not concerened or bothered, this put my employees on edge. Once customers who were arguing had left it turned into a pleasant place. Took £50 deposit for each room which were wasn't aware of as my employees had to pay as i said I wasn't aware that it needed to be paid as i would of paid this when booking.

Location was good. there was no breakfast option at this property. Great to have a drink later on and watch the football. Rooms are very clean and comfortable with everything that you need for a night away.

When you pay £50 deposit, you should be able to access it back on departure. We had to leave early to catch coach and we had to wait ages for it, nearly missing the coach. Rooms were semi clean, quite a bit of dust. Also no mattress protectors. However it's still work in progress and I know the Manager is working on it.

You get what you pay for. Simple room for an affordable price. No kettles in room so staff bent over backwards to get one for us, Manager was more than helpful when our bank card got swallowed. We always stay here when we come up to Brum. Wouldn't even contemplate going anywhere else

Excellent location to shops, local food places, pubs and the station, security access, friendly staff, large clean room, TV, WiFi, free car park on site for hotel residents.
