The rooms are tiny and have no windows or daylight coming into them. I found this very strange and think it should have been mentioned on the listing. I usually sleep with a window open to assist with asthma but this wasn't possible for my 2 night stay. Some people may have a feeling of claustrophobia.

There was nothing I didn’t like about the property.

The friendly host and the coziness of the bar. Also the meals provided were of a good standard.

No food available. No reception, no staff. You go into pub and are given a code to a key safe outside your assigned room. When you leave, you put the key back. Felt really weird.

Clean, quite comfortable, plenty of parking room. Bar staff very friendly

I’ve never stayed in a hotel before when my room had no window. I think this is a fire hazard. If a fire broke out outside the door how do you get out !!!!!!

Lack of natural light as just the one tiny window high up about 1 ft x 1ft. Needed a bit of updating - stair covering/carpet badly worn and muddy. Towels not matching and TV not plugged in ready to use - just niggling bits, but little things would make it somewhere I'd re-visit.

The location which was near to where I was visiting. The quiet. The chap who took me to my room was very helpful. Parking great.

Got a rash from the sheets, had to steal toilet paper from the pub because I ran out.

Good room, definitely caused me a rash possible bed bugs so should be checked. Otherwise room was nice staff were so friendly.

Unfortunately misunderstood that it was not a hotel but rather a B&B and no breakfast provided. I had a small but comfortable room, happy with it after all, but my colleague had a room without a window. The sound insulation was not good which prevented a good night sleep due to a noisy neighbour.

Clean rooms, easy and no-frills access.

Aside from liquid hand soap, there was no shampoo or shower gel, and with limited easily accessible local facilities, and typically the lateness of arrival, its hard to go out specially for one thing. Aside from that, no real issues, my room necessitated closing curtains, as directly next to road, but no real biggie.

Easy access to gaming event at Huxlow academy, basically one road. Room was good, bed was comfortable, with drinks provided, tv, and ensuite.

There is no food am/pm at the moment, but there is a Sainsburys 1m up the road. If you're heading to Sywell Aerodrome, have breakfast at Beckworth Emporium. The first room I was shown had no window as do some of the others...its worth booking a specific room.

Lovely room with a view of the fields behind - Room 5. Plenty of parking. Very helpful land lady. Good hot showers. Comfortable bed. USB ports in bedside sockets - Yey!
